Is Captain David Miscavige’s Claim of 6601 Sea Org Members Real? Or Are There Far Fewer?

I am not trolling or trashing anything, I have an opinion that dianetics and scientology are rhetoric in its simplest forms. That's my opinion, whether you agree or not.

I'm not quite sure why you have to disparage or belittle what I write?
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"
"Hubbard used rhetoric!"

Why don't you understand that you actually said the same thing hundreds of times? You don't have to keep saying THE SAME THING.

Perhaps we are being unduly harsh. It could be the rare medical condition known as "IRCS".

Idiotically Repetitive Chanting Syndrome.

(excerpt from Wikirepeatia): "During the 1990s, Medical researchers began to make some inroads into the therapeutic address of IRCS. Patients at that time mainly complained that most of their waking hours daily were entirely consumed by the compulsion to endlessly repeat the same clauses, phrases and sentences."

However with the advent of computers, the treating physicians noted that on average each of their patients was able to free up approximately five hours daily by creating SHORTCUTS on their keyboards that would instantly repeat entire sentences or paragraphs with only one (1) single key stroke!

:hattip:

Of course you are trolling and trashing. Why else would you post your "Hubbard used rhetoric!" mantra on this (and other non-sequitur) threads?

You know that you are repeating yourself and derailing threads. You aren't dumb, everyone is fully aware of what you are doing. It isn't mysterious or secret. Why pretend you are dumb?

If you really, really are compelled to keep repeating your "Hubbard used rhetoric!" mantra, either go back to your "What is rhetoric?" thread or create your own message board. Stop trolling. Please.

That was a refreshing burst of fresh oxygenated air!

I reached the same conclusion, that it was impossible that anyone could be that idiotic. Ergo, trolling (or, sadism, lol).

Here is a perfect example PROVING what you said is correct. A very recent post where P&B quote gracefully and diplomatically tried to help Riddick by pointing out that he is using the word "rhetoric" incorrectly a lot of the time. It's something anyone posting online would be pleased to learn, so that they could fix the error and thus become more successful in getting across their message.

The word rhetoric is a noun it is not also an adjective. Using these two words properly will make your rhetorical posts more skilled.
(omitted the various definitions as noun, adjective, et al)

Very nice post. Pure, simple and helpful. So let's see what Riddick's response was:

I'm not trying to make rhetorical posts but to expose Hubbards rhetoric and the simple means of persuasion of his ethos, pathos and ethos. Excuse my proper or improper use of grammar, one will either get it or not. You have to look deeper into what rhetoric actually means

Instead of thanking PirateandBum for the helpful post, Riddick instead:
  • offers the non-sequitur misdirection: "I'm not trying to make rhetorical posts..." P&B never said nor inferred anything about that.
  • condescendingly snarks that P&B doesn't know what he is talking about by posting: "You have to look deeper into what rhetoric actually means".
That's trolling—designed to taunt, derail and trash the otherwise interesting & productive conversations on this message board.

There are hundreds of such derailing responses by Riddick. His gimmick is to ignore what others post and/or to pretend to not understand it and post non-sequiturs and insults. He feigns idiocy as a pretext to ignore what others post so he can instead troll them.

It doesn't seem like some cosmic coincidence that Riddick trolls this message board while at the same time being good buddies with the worst troll in ESMB's history, the thrice times banned Alanzo. Riddick has supported Alanzo's psychotic attack website by being a regular poster there. Ask yourself this listing question:

WHO OR WHAT WOULD SUPPORT A SOCIOPATHIC TROLL
AND SELF-CONFESSED PATHOLOGICAL LIAR , WHO
RUNS A HATE-SPEWING, DEAD-AGENTING
WEBSITE LIKE ALANZO?

When you find the "item", be sure to send your OT wins into Advance! magazine, lol.

i'm going to barge in here and take the sort of stab at diagnosis you're not supposed to, in hopes it might help out this extended awkward situation.

my guess is that Riddick is smart but something like 'on the spectrum', leading to doing things that are socially dumb, like fixating on particular ideas as being 'the answer' and pushing that as the angle around which he (i'm assuming; and, it's a particularly male pitfall) relate to things, to the point that people get completely fed up with it.

and i think it's easy to imagine how someone like that gets lured into Hubbard's scn with its promise of easy (or at least authoritative) answers and approaches to everything. not a few end up repeating the same cognitive mistakes regarding other things, after they get out of that particular trap.

. . .
Very interesting.

I guess it makes sense that some find certain unknown aspects of life to be psychologically chaotic and confusing to the point where anything that can turn the spigot off (so they don't drown) becomes the most valuable tool in the toolbox. The one-stop-shop SINGLE ANSWER to shut off the stress takes on a mythically miraculous value, because it "works" as a painkiller.

I imagine that's how the world's great religions came into existence.

Life is certainly a lot simpler and happier if all of the answers to existence can be found in one little book or one fixed mental construct.

examples:

God has given us the sole & true path to eternal bliss and it's all in the BIBLE.
Allah has given us the sole & true path to eternal salvation and it's all in the KORAN.
Ron has given us the sole & true path to eternal causation and it's all in the TECH.
Aristotle has given us the sole & true path to eternal understanding and it's all in the RHETORIC.

All of such true believers (having already been "saved") feel it is their cosmic duty to convert and save heathens. I guess that's where the "trolling" comes into the conversation. (e.g. "Since you do not agree with Ron's tech, I hope that when you die you will die alone and in pain and in the dark").

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION
Ex Scientology infidels who have not yet accepted RHETORIC as their
Lord & Savior should immediately report for more briefings!

LOL

I think you could be right. I've said this before but it's worth repeating here - Riddick had the username Gib on the old ESMB and he did exactly the same thing there except his mantra was "there are no Clears or OTs". He repeated that constantly in every post for such a long time that the owner of the message board, Emma, told him to shut up. But he didn't. He kept repeating it and still repeats it on this board when he's not ranting about rhetoric.
