TOP SUPER-STUPID MOMENTS IN SCIENTOLOGY (PART V)

.

If forced to pick the TOP TEN stupidest moments in Scientology, this one makes the list!

It's a messed up messianic moment that is not only stunningly stupid, it's epically stupid!

QUICK VERSION: A few short months after Hubbard published "DIANETICS" in 1950, he had a brilliant marketing idea to bring his miraculous Clearing technology to the world---by staging a mega-event in Los Angeles at the Shrine Auditorium that seats 6,300 people. It was there that a jubilant Hubbard proudly presented "THE WORLD'S FIRST CLEAR". Naturally, the crowd was electrified to witness the Clear's supernatural powers, including "perfect memory". Within minutes it became an unmitigated disaster when Hubbard's "Clear" humiliatingly could not recall various things about her past or even what color tie Hubbard (behind her) was wearing. The thoroughly annoyed crowd scoffed, jeered, laughed and began to file out. In that horrific moment, what could Hubbard possibly think of to save his "modern science" and his own just-destroyed reputation?

Now comes the unbelievable moment of truth. WHAT WOULD RON DO?

There is a terrific re-telling of this entire cringefest over at Tony Ortega's UNDERGROUND BUNKER-- here's an excerpt, focused on that egregious gaslighting gaffe:

"Hubbard, sweat glistening in beads on his forehead, stepped forward and brought the demonstration swiftly to an end. Quick-witted as always, he proffered an explanation for Miss Bianca’s impressive lapses of memory. The problem, Dianetically speaking, was that when he called her forward, asking her to come out ‘now’, the ‘now’ had frozen her in ‘present time’ and blocked her total recall. It was not particularly convincing, but it was the best he could do in the circumstances."
It must be terribly frustrating to have miraculous superhuman powers that only work in the case that nobody is present and/or someone in your vicinity speaks aloud one any kind of debilitating wholetrack kryptonite words.

That one really happened! Hubbard really tried to "scientifically" explain why his "science" didn't work.

The following one may not have really happened. But one can still dream, lol.

Aside from "perfect memory", were there other such public demonstrations of miraculous superhuman powers? What if Ron had been inspired to give an even bigger and bolder event at the Los Angeles Coliseum that seats 78,467---where he promised to blow their minds with a demonstration of EXTERIORIZATION!

Hubbard would allow himself to be fully blindfolded with 10 blackout layers of cloth, further encased in prodigious amounts of of duct tape. Then audience members could stand behind him and other remote locations and write or draw something on a blackboard, which Hubbard would then leave his body and view. Exciting, right?!

Well, we know what would happen next. FAIL. But that's not the most fun part of it...the truly delicious part is when Hubbard has to improvise some bizarre flight of creative fantasy to explain why he couldn't demonstrate exterior that particular evening:

"Quick-witted as always, Ron proffered an explanation for his failure to exteriorize. The problem, Scientologically speaking, was that when an audience member asked him if he could exteriorize and see what 27 digit number had been drawn on a blackboard behind him, the word "SEE" had forced him to go back inside his body. Because a being can only "SEE" with their eyes. When a being is exterior they do not "SEE" they view. Thus he actually quite precisely and successfully carried out the command he had been given."

‘Incident One' is set four quadrillion years ago, wherein an unsuspecting thetan was subjected to a loud snapping noise, followed by a flood of luminescence, then saw a chariot followed by a trumpeting cherub. After a loud set of snaps, the thetan was overwhelmed by darkness. This is described as the implant opening the gateway to the present universe, separating thetans from their static (natural/godlike) state. The incident is described in Operating Thetan level III (Pre-OT III), written in 1967.’ (Ref: Wikipedia Incident (Scientology) (Incident (Scientology) - Wikipedia.)

.

ANSWER: Incident "ONE" is is not the first incident in the universe. It's an implant. You inquired about the Source of it. LRH states in scripture that "The perfect answer to a question is the question itself".

Ergo, the Source of the implant was Source.

HUBBARD ADMITS DIANETICS BOOK IS A FRAUD

edited with updates:

The 70th Anniversary of Dianetics The Modern Science of Mental Health is being celebrated in worldwide events next month! Here is the surreal part that you won't believe until you see/hear it yourself:

62 YEARS AGO HUBBARD ALREADY CONFESSED TO SCIENTOLOGISTS
(ON FILM) THAT DIANETICS BOOK ONE DID NOT PRODUCE A CLEAR.

But, Scientologists ignore that LRH confession---and celebrate Dianetics producing a Clear anyways! I told you it's surreal, do you want to see it for yourself?

Around 3:15 to 3:45 of the following Scientology video Hubbard clearly states:

"We had in Book I, simply no more and no less than a rather adequate description of the reactive mind, the mental image picture, the engram, the secondary and so forth. We had ways to run these things but those ways were not the ways used to clear people. Now, that's very interesting that I could be guilty of an oversight to that degree."

It gets more bizarre....

Since 1951 Hubbard and the Church has ranted and raved about precision scientific technology that has been proven to work 100% of the time. They have promoted millions of copies of The Way To Happiness worldwide to teach people not to lie. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent promoting Dianetics courses and auditing so every man, woman and child on Earth could go Clear. The book DMSHM has been re-published over and over again, most recently with the release of "The Basics". It is continually asserted, stated and written that Dianetics is a science of the mind and that in about 20 hours of Dianetic auditing, anyone can reach "Clear".

But around July 4, 1958 (when this congress was filmed) Hubbard admitted that DMSMH could not produce a clear.

In spite of that, for the past 62 years, the church has continued to sell the book and the courses and the auditing. The Scientologists have never edited or corrected the fraudulent claims in book. Never.

They never revised the book to tell the reader that the author said there was other technology he later developed (allegedly) that was needed to make the state of clear. They never even hinted that anything was less than perfect in this book. Not one person in the past 59 years ever was produced by Scientology as evidence that the abilities of a clear were even real. It was just a claim... But back to the point, even if Hubbard later figured out how to make a Clear (which he clearly did not) then why would they sell a book that they knew was incorrect about the precious, scientific technology to free mankind. (hint: their total dedication to freeing mankind with the miraculous tech of Dianetics must not very "total"...or at least less total than their dedication to getting people to pay MONEY for a shiny car that doesn't run.

Have to admire the boldness of it! They take a broken down car, give it sparking new paint and then sell it for way more than blue book value, claiming it is not only a car but it is a super-car, capable of winning every race.

Billion of millions of dollars collected by Scientology by selling books, courses and lavishly expensive auding for a "clearing technology" that does not clear anything or anyone. That is knowing and outright consumer fraud.

They know it doesn't work. But they still sell it and make all the false claims and misrepresentations without hesitation.

And they get Scientologists to go to events to celebrate something that Hubbard says doesn't work.

Marvelous hoax, isn't it? A masterpiece of deception. Belongs in an art museum in the Baroque Brainwashing Gallery.

The ying and yang of the Cult of $cientology: Ying - El Con was full of shit. Yang - El Con had his head up his arse.
HH, I'd like your opinion on a crackpot theory I have. :coolwink:
I could be off on the timeline, but here goes.

I have a feeling that the original line-up of ethics and
ethics handlings and all the numerous ethics issues
came after the failed expectations and failed products
of the original Clearing Course in 1966. The build-up
to the Clearing Course was so great, and then, AFAIK,
the products were still so aberrated, complaining,
dissatisfied, and unruly that LRH developed the subject
of "ethics"
to solve them and hold them in line until he
could come up with something else.

The thinking would be, if we can't actually clear them,
then we'll create the apparency of clear using the sheer
force of strict discipline -- our massive ethics system,
that is, a frightening and expensive discipline system.

A threat that your eternity will be taken away. You won't
"make it." Other stuff.

I remember when I first came around Sci I never could
understand why ethics even existed in the first place.
I had read all the promises and fantastical claims, and
I'd always ask, why is there ethics if you can just run
out the source for the aberrant behavior 1, 2, 3? Just
run it out man!

Little did I know back then that people on OT7 and OT8
were still trying to handle or "erase" the same stuff they
came in with. And that was a real shocker, talking to Solo
Nots publics and why they were in ethics or what they were
still trying to fix on those levels. :wow:

Or seeing and talking to the delusional and possibly still
insane OT VIIIs. That'll wake ya up to reality. It did me.

So my question: Is ethics simply a by-product for the failed
results of Hubbard's basic theories of the mind? The Final
Solution
to try to fix, mitigate, and/or hide basic failure
of the entirety of his tech? Sorta basic-basic on why ethics
was developed. He sure didn't talk about it in the early 50's.
Back then, it was all about clearing, clearing, clearing.

Ethics is there to hide the failures all the way up and down
the grade chart. I think that's a very basic fraud people
sometimes overlook.

What do you think?

BTW: Ron sends greetings from Target II.

Re the Sonya Bianchi incident, as the abilities, per El Con's claims, of the ranks/statuses of Clear, Pre-OT and OT don't exist, the outcome probably wouldn't have affected or deterred El Con because:

Its irresponsibility factor is also this – one cannot be responsible for things which are proven not to exist.’

ANSWER: Normally I would have guessed that the standard answer to any timing questions about Scientology would always be: "...by Thursday 2pm"

However, there is really great breaking news from Scientology--we do not even have to wait until Thursday this time! Because COB discovered some "lost technology" where Dr. Hubbard stated that all viral pandemics (just like cancer) are caused by not smoking enough cigarettes!

Therefore, normal Ideal activities at Ideal orgs will resume today--because senior management has ordered all 10M of its Ideal Volunteer Ministers to forthwith cease spraying anti-microbial agents and immediately begin spraying Ideal tobacco smoke.

Golden Age Of Surveys Proudly Announces

SCIENTOLOGY FINALLY UPDATES ITS

MARKETING CAMPAIGN FOR THE FIRST TIME
SINCE 1967 WHEN RON DISCOVERED XENU!
In a stunningly unexpected promo-savvy strategic move, the world's fastest growing religion, Scientology, has abandoned its wildly successful 53 year old branding slogan:

"I ain't afraid of no ghosts!"
Church spokesperson, Billy Blowdown, explained: "People on this planet still fear being haunted by totally invisible demon spirits, but our advanced survey tech has discovered a far greater terror button---being infected by even more-invisible viruses! That's why we are so excited with the release of our new ideal slogan..."

"I ain't afraid of no microbes!"
When asked what the Church of Scientology plans to do specifically to combat the CoronaVirus pandemic, Mr. Blowdown insouciantly laughed while responding: "I think our new slogan speaks for itself. We've always believed that knowledge is power!"

Wow, forged in FIRE!

That's impressive!

Any time that L. Ron Hubbard starts mentioning the word "FIRE" there are bound to be miracles!

1943
When Hubbard discovered 2 Imperial Japanese Navy Submarines hiding just
miles off the California coast, Ron screamed orders at his crew to open FIRE with
its guns and FIRE 35 depth charges at an enemy that--was non-existent!

1950

(Hubbard's testimony from DMSMH in quotes)
"The creation of Dianetics is a milestone for Man comparable to
his discovery of FIRE..." However the enemy of all mankind (the engram)
that Hubbard claimed he scientifically proved---was non-existent!

1967

L. Ron Hubbard ultimately unlocked the secret mystery of the entire universe
that kept all beings imprisoned for eternity in a nightmarishly boobytrapped prison
called the Wall of FIRE, which had it not been for Ron's miraculous efforts
would never have been discovered, because it---was non-existent!

Some of these incendiary revelations seem, well---if I can be honest about it---it seems kinda....problematic.

That's why I called up a highly qualified Church of Scientology spokesperson to get a much needed r-factor. It's OT VIII Billy Blowdown!! He not only has knows the secrets of the universe, he also happens to be a very close personal friend of COB who was a close personal friend of Rons!! Let's ask him now!

Hey Billy! Every time Ron says the word "FIRE" it
looks like he a lying scam-artist. I mean all the stupid shit
he's talking about is NON-EXISTENT! What's up with that?!

cruise-handshake-1_zps6udikzvt.jpg

I'm really blowing charge & blowing down from you asking me
that question! The reason you keep running into so many things that
seem to be non-existent is because Ron was always meeting so
many new beings
and applying NON-EXISTENCE.

this just in from Hubbard.

He used to say be 3 feet back of your head, now he says, step away from the body, be 6 feet back.

So much for CCH's and Give me that hand.

Has anyone wondered what an inside security guard room likes like?
Each computer screen you see is the feed from a hidden camera as you walk on the street near a Scientology building. These rooms are MUCH larger now, with many more computer screens and many more cameras watching, watching, taping...The Scientology cult has a *HUGE* amount of *Religious* spying and intelligence......

The only "document" that I know of that David Misccivge has that conveys ANY power to him
from Hubbard is this very non-specific letter from 1982:

From Wikipedia
In a 1982 probate case, Ronald DeWolf, Hubbard's estranged son, accused Miscavige of embezzling from and manipulating his father. Hubbard denied this in a written statement, saying that his business affairs were being well managed by Author Services Inc., of which Miscavige was Chairman of the Board. In the same document, L. Ron Hubbard called David Miscavige a "trusted associate" and "good friend" who had kept Hubbard's affairs in good order. A judge ruled the statement was authentic.

This same letter has been presented in other more recent court cases as evidence by COS attorneys.

This is the same letter that AOLA's Senior Ethics Officer Julian Schwartz shows nearly disaffected parishioners or whales,
if they begin questioning Miscavige's authority or want to know on what authority does Miscavige run the COS.

This pathetically weak document and non-specific statement is all they have. A friend of mine was shown this letter one
time when he pushed the subject. That's it. They have nothing really. There is nothing, AFAIK. Hubbard did not "pass the
hat" or do a hat turnover. I guess he forgot to do that before his "assisted suicide/dropping of the body."

Oh, here it is . . . ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
10. Since there apparently have been specific allegations of wrongdoing by David Miscavige, I wish to take this opportunity to communicate my unequivocal confidence in David Miscavige, who is a long time devoted Scientologist, a trusted associate, and a good friend to me. Any activities which he may have engaged in at any time concerning my personal or business affairs have been done with my knowledge and authorization and for my benefit. The charge that he is organizing the theft of my assets are completely false and not worthy of further comment than that.

I will admit that your documentation appears, on its face, at first appeared troublesome. However, lawyers representing the estranged twin brother of Ron Hubbard (Don Hubbard; see avatar) have filed a Temporary Restraining Order that contains original and authenticated documentation wherein LRH's final will and testament unambiguously intended to give the Church of Scientology to his twin brother Don.

In their brief, the lawyers have outlined a fast-track resolution and turnover of all banking accounts, mimeo machines and inventories of goldenrod paper. We trust that by a date not later than this coming Thursday, Don will regain his rightful birthright, with full control of the International Church(s) Of Scientology and their assets, capital resources, real estate and/or personnel.

I have enclosed below one of the fundamental support documents for your review.

Good old Julian, always trying to be the best son that he can be and the most hard working and dedicated guy of them all, at least as long as there is someone breathing down his neck.

Someone really knew what they were doing when they kicked him outta flag. A broken piece tasked with braking further pieces.

Or maybe he did and Dave with his Janissaries just happened to put their hands on it an "misplaced it". We will never know.

And another option they could have used is the one they've reportedly used in other situations where they lightly tape a blank sheet of paper on the back of a clipboard with a legitimate document to be signed by their target on the front. The clipboard is then handed to the person to sign, he takes hold of it unwittingly fingerprinting the back blank page and signs the legitimate one clipped to the front. The back page is then taken away using gloves and used to print out the forgery with the signature then carefully forged. And voila you have what you need to sell the con!

SUPREME COURT REVERSES: DON HUBBARD INHERITS
CHURCH OF SCIENTOLOGY $4 BILLION WORLDWIDE EMPIRE

Updated 6:07 PM ET, Mon April 20, 2020
Washington (CNN) - In a unanimous ruling the Supreme Court rendered a decision awarding Mr. L. Don Hubbard, the estranged twin brother of Scientology Founder L. Ron Hubbard, with all of the ownership and control interests in the international Churches of Scientology and their affiliated corporate entities.

Don spearheaded what eventually became the longest running probate litigation in US history back in 1986 when his fraternal twin brother Ron's estate was mistakenly turned over to a low-level staffer, David Miscavige, who it was later revealed submitted multiple counterfeit documents purporting to be a last-moment deathbed alteration to Ron Hubbard's succession plan.

Asked for a statement on the SCOTUS adjudication, Mr. Miscavige refused to make any comment--but hours later responded with a cryptic text message reading: "YSCOHB!", which a COS spokesperson suggested meant: "Your Supreme Court Obstructed Hubbard's Beneficiary" (i.e. Captain Miscavige).

.
When asked what he was going to do next, Don indicated that this was a time of deep spiritual reflection and he asked for privacy during his meditations on what would be the most beneficial use for all mankind of the cult's $4 billion in assets.

Don Hubbard utilizes a religious artifact to determine the greatest humanitarian use of $4 billion. No video
footage was permitted but a CNN correspondent allowed to observe the religious ritual stated that Don
verbally "assessed" a list of transportation modes that mainly consisted of announcing and then noting
the needle reactions on such choices as "..Bentley, Benz, Rolls..."
and other luxury brand automobiles.

Don spearheaded what eventually became the longest running probate litigation in US history back to 1986 when his fraternal twin brother Ron's estate was mistakenly turned over to a low-level staffer, David Miscavige, who it was later revealed submitted multiple counterfeit documents purporting to be a last-moment deathbed alteration to Ron Hubbard's succession plan.

Asked for a comment on the SCOTUS adjudication, Mr. Miscavige refused to make any statement, but hours later responded with a cryptic text message reading: "YSCOHB!", which a COS spokesperson suggested meant: "Your Supreme Court Obstructed Hubbard's Beneficiary" (i.e. Captain Miscavige).

.
When asked what he was going to do next, Don indicated that this was a time of deep spiritual reflection and he asked for privacy during his meditative reflections on what would be the most beneficial use for all mankind of the cult's $4 billion in assets.
