What Happened To Training?

Is the Super Power building still a thing? Oilyness rundown?
I don't think so since nobody could fly into flag because of the covid-19. Anybody that did the super rundowns prior are also locked down, LOL.

so much for having the rhetoric super powers that put a being into a super fantastic condition.

Since everything is shut down, like flying, etc. What about body routing to get new public in, in your local city, and handing out promo on the streets, etc.

None of that is happening in the scientology world, LOL, and thank you.

DM can no longer do his rhetoric speeches written by Sherman and a BOOMING VOICE, LOL

What a crack of shit the whole thing has been.

DM can't even boom how the stats are booming in his 4 quarter event speeches.

I luv it!

I don't think anybody is training or auditing these days, at least not the general public, all missions and orgs are closed.

It would be cool if the covid-19 pandemic had a silver lining of putting DM and scientology out of business, forever.

New HCO PL's and HCOB's will need to be released, hand sanitizer to be applied to the PC's hands before picking up the cans. Always wash e-meter cans with sanitizer using newspaper print.

While I'm sure covid has harmed the church somewhat I know Flag is in fact open for business. So are a few other class v orgs in the usa. In Europe I've heard things have been opening up as well and I wouldn't be surprised to hear they are mostly open.

Anyways, I heard about 5 years ago that someone who knows someone in the higher ups, and knows someone who is a speechwriter, said, that DM would prefer a small following as opposed to a big following.
He might, but that's not official policy as promoted down through the decades in the CofS or as understood by the still-ins who are there on the understanding that their job is to disseminate Scientology to the whole planet. Isn't a collision between the two, and the higher-ups who share that understanding, inevitable at some point?

P.S. I have never been on staff or in the SO and I do realise that some of my comments on here may seem naive to those who have, and I suspect this may be one such example.

This subject of training and big booming orgs should be raising flags to the currently in, but it doesn't happen. Hope springs eternal in the thetans heart, of course I only can speak for myself and my own stint of decades.

Training isn't happening like it was just twenty five years ago. That doesn't stop that little group from doing it's little group thing.

SMP exists and before the pandamnic the orgs were still empty. Orgs will all be open soon enough, and will be empty.

These guys that are still in are a tough nut to crack.

I'm pretty sure red flags are being raised, so much so that many people, staff and public, "have flown the coup". But we don't know for sure.

The only training that might be happening is extension course's, LOL. that was always a flop.

When the basics came out, there were not really any new people, just a few, but most people who got back on-lines were scientologists who had fallen off or were ordered to do the Basics. So it was a mini boom, but DM and his rhetoric speech writer Sherman made it sound like a boom in stats. Guess what, when these still in scientologists completed their Basics, why the stats went down, why, because there were not any new people. And once these people completed, they were regged heavy for the IAS. And they left. Staff were wearing T-shirts saying we are the IAS.

I know, I was there in a org witnessing this as I was doing the basics courses. I finally got out of it, but that's another story, laughing, what a joke the whole thing is.

something you people may not know, Sherman, Dan Sherman, is not a Sea Org member, but gets paid to write his rhetoric speeches for DM, and a good amount of money. Have any of you folks seen Dan Sherman at events?

Mike Rinder talked about it awhile ago. I know some of this shit is hard to piece together, laughing, but here you go:

excerpt:

"So, Sherman stays around being paid handsomely, refusing to join the Sea Org, but living at the Gold Base, and he performs two functions:
  1. Delivers two “biographical” briefings each year (at March 13 event and Maiden Voyage event)
  2. Writing the content of all Miscavige public statements – anywhere and anytime he speaks."

Does Miscavige use a teleprompter like Biden?

Hi Dotey,

As far as I know, what usually happens is that orgs are told the field is booming everywhere else, and if that isn't happening at one particular org the EO of the org will decide that the org's ethics are "out" and assign it the condition of emergency. Staff members get told they have to ramp up the org's stats and get busy producing OR ELSE.

Of course this is a lie, but one that works as far as Miscavige is concerned; he gets to have the whole field in a continual state of anxiety over their poor stats and "not being good enough" and thus doing its darndest to try to make an impossible situation work.

What about the scholarship? Remember that? If you were on a full time schedule, or pledged that you would be, you got a 50% discount?

This is from memory so it might not be totally accurate. In the 1970's the grade chart remained basically unchanged for auditing and training and it was smooth sailing for myself and the people I audited on the lower levels. It was something like, set ups - dianetics - grades - power - clearing course.

I'll take a guess that in the mid to late 70's Elron decided that a lot case failures could be blamed on current or previous drug use, street drugs or otherwise and went hell bent to "handle" it. In 1978 he also redefined or added definitions for Clear and I ended up right in the middle of it. lol

Mike Rinder recently had a topic on Clear and I wrote this:

"My recollection is that Dianetics Case Completion came first which I guess was no negative or impinging and unwanted attitudes, emotions, sensations or pains. I had attested to that and myself and another guy were training and co-auditing on the grades when the Dianetic Drug Rundown came out. It was deemed a priority and he and myself and were transferred to it. At some point on the rundown in session he said, “Locate an incident of . . . (whatever it was)” I looked and looked and then just burst out laughing and said, “Joe, it’s just a joke! There’s nothing there!” I guess that was close enough to the Clear Cog because they gave me a “Dianetic Clear” Certificate.

Soon after that Hubbard started jacking up the prices again and I split. Good timing, good luck or good karma I guess – haha"
............................................................................................................................

At least back then before I split around 1980 you could look at the grade chart and have some predictability. Miss Cabbage has had 40 years to jimmy everything around. I guess some people are still getting wins from metered auditing which keeps them hanging on.

At our org, we had one twinship, two brothers, that trained all the way to CL V auditor. Out of all the years, there were about four or five CL IV auditors and and maybe one other NED auditor. No one else. Those brothers co-audited each others grades through grade IV. Neither ended up co-auditing NED. As far as I know, there may be no other public auditor comps at this org. scientology works.

R3R (Routine 3 Revised, Standard Dianetic Auditing) was not that difficult to learn. It had a rote procedure of 12 or 13 questions and commands. Any bogs in session could be corrected with a correction list by a higher level auditor. Since all new auditors were studying R3R it wasn't hard to find a co-auditor. I went to ASHO and did a dianetic internship which also qualified me to deliver other lower level procedures like Self Analysis on the cans. Even though as mentioned above the Briefing Course covered a lot of no longer in use processes, the BC grads got a lot of respect.

Here's the 1970 grade chart. Use the slide bar to expand the chart. Then double click on the chart to freeze the expansion and navigate the chart.

Eta: I just checked on my tablet and I just need to tap on the chart to get it to expand.

I was wondering yesterday if Hubbard was calling the shots when the mission holders were attacked. At that time an auditor could make a livable income working full time for a mission holder, and that the CL 0-IV basic "psychotherapy" processes were popular with common folk. Lots of new people signing up and lots of auditing going on.
The thinking I was increasingly seeing in the 1980s and later, was that it was criminal to make money from Scientology, unless most of the money flowed up to orgs and Int.

Thus field auditors who kept most of their revenue and only had to flow 10% up-lines were stamped out. FSMs who got 10% of what they regged were OK.
