This does feel a bit like fair game honestly speaking.

That's kind of where I'm at too.It seems to be a reaction to the restaurant owner fairgaming the protesters, but it wasn't necessary to respond in kind.
Yeah, the owner is an a-hole, she proved it by how she was trying to handle the protests. I would be glad to see her pay a fine or land in court for what happened.
The owner is righteously angry that these people are unjustly attempting to destroy her business and livelihood.
At the beginning of the protest, there was no such attempt to destroy her business. It was just a protest.
She had a right to be angry about it but a line was crossed when patrons were encouraged to mess with the protestors as they did. Had that not happened the protestors would probably have gotten bored and moved on weeks ago.
Personally, I fail to understand why they are harassing her business. Whether an employee of hers spiked the drink or Danny did, the who done it is unknown, so to damn her for something she may not have had a hand in, is beyond the pale. This is, as mentioned above, LRH fair game tech, and what I hope is not the case, is the creating strife to generate youtube views for the financial rewards.
The owner considers Danny to be her friend, which is why she, like so many others, supported him with the letters to the judge. Like any true believer, she doesn't believe he committed those rapes. In that she's like any Scio who believes in Hubbard's tech, despite red flags to the contrary. I don't really care if a person believes in Hubbard's tech or not. I get that mine is not a black or white choice of sides...

..
that's not why they are harassing her business. the chatter and chants about how Masterson drugged his victim(s) in the restaurant are just sensational ways to attract attention and get online CLICKS and SUBSCRIBERS.
they went after that location because the owner supported the serial rapist before, during and after the trial.
as others have pointed out, had the restaurant and patrons simply IGNORED them, the protesters would have eventually gone away.
but, instead, they took the bait.
then the owner had to resort to using Scientology's curtain tech. lol
the protestors are both ACTIVISTS and ENTERTAINERS who get paid bundles if they have enough subscribers. So they make a lot of noise. that's how they support themselves. but they also do great work to rectify horrific injustices and corruption within the cult of Scientology, so i give them a pass on all the cringey moments they go overboard. They are fantastic weapons in the fight against the multibillion dollar COS (crimewave of scientology).

I just don't buy into this polarization mantra that is de rigueur these days.
For my money, they can harass the orgs all they want, but people like this restaurant owner etc. should be left alone. I agree, it's for the clicks and the money, as well as the activism aspect. However in harassing her, they are stooping to OSA's subterranean level.

Well, the court established that Masterson used this venue for one of the druggings. The owner is righteously angry that these people are unjustly attempting to destroy her business and livelihood. No evidence has ever been presented that her restaurant had anything at all to do with Danny Masterson's crimes.
When I was on lines, I didn't go looking for "entheta" news etc. But if it popped up in a news paper etc. I'd read it. My justification was that it wasn't my problem OSA failed to do their job. I didn't have this "if they're not with us, they're against us" attitude. I just didn't pay a lot of attention to the entheta stories. When I was on lines at flag some people I knew were discussing Anonymous and that Lilly was paying them $50. I was clueless about the protests, or why we were made to bus to the Ft. Harrison rather than walk there from the Sand Castle.it's just a different version of things like scn Homo Novis versus the 'wogs' and SPs that was de rigeur -- and justified things like what was done to Paulette Cooper -- in your days in the cult, right?

False flag operation?Well, the court established that Masterson used this venue for one of the druggings.
Then the owner gave a character statement in support of Masterson after he was already convicted but before sentencing. What she did was legal, but the fact remains that she oficially was supporting a convicted serial rapist.
Whether the owner knew about the drugging before the court case and if she condoned it before - we do not know. But she did legally and oficially support Masteron after the sentencing when she knew that he was a serial rapist.
Now whether this is sufficient cause to have the venue protested this way? That's a fair question and opinions can differ. But the venue was in fact involved in his crimes.
You know my opinion: I feel like people had teh right to protest her and the venue, but I feel that by now it has gone too far. Seems to be taking the focus away from scientology itself. And teh black-PR flyer and poster campaign feels like something OSA would do. That's way out of line in my book.
I'm not in any way shape or form in charge of the protests, just giving my personal opinion..

I do not want to speculate if anyone is an OSA agent without concrete evidence.False flag operation?
I feel it might perhaps be a case of this sort of action. The white elephant herder. A persona designed to draw confidence, sympathy and trust. This persona will then advocate certain ideas or projects (the "white elephant") that on first glance seem like real good ways to strike at the cult, but in reality are harmless. They will nevertheless draw the money, attention, time and effort of critics. The more real critics that pick up this project, the better for the cult.
Good pointsI do not want to speculate if anyone is an OSA agent without concrete evidence.
But I could see how OSA would want to nudge the protesters in that direction and promote that behavior: "Yeah, go pester a restaurant instead of an actual Scientology org. Also go spend money and effort on it, rather than on something directly attacking scientology".
I once wrote a thread about OSA false flag personas, the way I remember them.
Let me quote a particular part of that:
I feel it might perhaps be a case of this sort of action.
Now, I'm NOT claiming that DOA or any other person is an OSA agent. I'm just saying that the end result looks like something that OSA would possibly be interested in conjuring up.
That's very likely the initial reason. But I wouldn't be surprised if after seeing this, OSA then tried that angle: started making sure that the patrons at LP became more confrontational than the CoS people and that events at LP became more exciting and better stream content.Good points
I personally think the protestors are there at La Poo Smell because they have people to engage with
where Scientology locations are morgues…. No one to play with
That may be the case and work for a while...but remember....Hollywood Test center has been shut down..... as soon as they are open and out on the streets trying to recruit - the protestors will be back. That's very likely the initial reason. But I wouldn't be surprised if after seeing this, OSA then tried that angle: started making sure that the patrons at LP became more confrontational than the CoS people and that events at LP became more exciting and better stream content.
Also, they might have researched peopl;e like DOA, then make sure his buttons get pushed at LP, not at the org.
Cause diverting the critic energy and money away from the church and towards another direction? That sounds exactly like something Pat would do. He did that way back when south park happened.
