Not true. I read all your posts. As a result of reading them I actually bought Wilbur's book.you know Veda, I went earlier than you and Hubbard Jr and Armstrong release of documents. You should too.
Hubbard's report card gives proof Hubbard studied Dean Wilbur book on English Rhetoric. Secondly, Hubbard's letter to Dean Wilbur in 1936.

@Riddick ... I don't believe anyone has disagreed with your posts regarding rhetoric since you started posting them back in 2014, though some have tried to discuss them with you ... what I'm surprised at (and I asked you about it a few days ago ... post #21) is the way you seem to be aiming the contempt you have towards the cult and hubbard at your fellow ex scientologists, why would you do that?

Rhetoric is the core of Dianetics and scientology. Nobody has really discussed about how he created ethos, pathos or logos to persuade people. Would you like to discuss, talk about it? Nor has anybody ever read Dean Wilbur book and realized how that book influenced Hubbard.

No, I wouldn't like to further discuss it, just stating and acknowledging it is enough (for me) with regards to the cult.
Everything ever sold to anyone comes with a degree of rhetoric, the cult is no different. I can accept that for what it is and don't feel the need to go into the details of how it was/is done. Perhaps if I was in Advertising, Sales, PR or Politics I would feel differently because I may want to emulate the successful and current uses of that particular tool.

I suggest you read Dale Carnegie's book "How To Win Friends And Influence People". You might get some ideas on how to get people interested in what you intend to keep posting about and maybe then you wouldn't piss off so many people.

laughing, yes I have read Dale Carnegie, but before him was Napoleon Hill. They are both similar, but they are rhetoric, really, when you think about it. I posted them both on ESMB somewhere.
I'm not trying to win and influence people, I'm just trying to point out how Hubbard influenced people.
