I smiled at the picture of Flakey Foont and "A little bit of Scientology can sometimes be a good thing." That would be me since I split around 1980 soon after attesting to "Dianetic Clear" only because of the price increases and had no problem with The Tek at the time. I never experienced any abuse and wasn't aware of it in scn until I started reading the scn blogs after watching Going Clear. For me my scn experience was an interesting and worthwhile life experience.

This was a life boat drill for the Apollo crew, they didn't have passports or permission to come ashore, hence the Spanish police welcoming party (they were arrested).

This book picks up where book One left off - Oct 1970 and completes the story of the remaining years on the Apollo. Over 200 photos included.

In the first photo, its a young Quentin Hubbard to the right rubbing his eye.

The 2nd photo with the boat being lowered down, I am in the front center of the photo- sitting to the side trying to get out of the way of the adults trying to pick up the oars.

The 3rd photo is Mary Sue, with Bill Robertson (Capt Bill) on the bull horn and Marion Dendiu - she is still in.

4th photo is Joan Robertson (wife of Capt Bill) with the police.

5th photo is Joan Robertson and I. I was 11 years old.

6th photo I am the young girl, a little to the left of the center of the photos with short sleeves and my arms crossed.

Thanks for all the support and comments about my talking about growing up under L. Ron Hubbard on the Apollo last night on Leah Remini's Aftermath show on A&E. If you want to learn more about it, I have written two books with great detail about the lives of not just Commodore's Messengers on the ship but the rest of the crew and what it was like growing up in such an environment. Lots of photos are included in the books.

There are probably about 3-400 photos in both my books combined if your interested. The two books cover the 8 years I lived on the Royal Scotman/Apollo.

I kept the other one for myself and I played it only once all the way through and then never pulled it out again for reasons that are obvious to all here. I would rather listen to 12 year old kids stoned on airplane glue bashing out "Louie Louie" on their shitty Sears and Roebuck electric guitars in the garage than play that album again.

As for the cover photo, we culties were convinced that it was "tone scale tech". We thought that Hubbard and his merry band of fanatics were in "2.0 Antagonism" in order to bring the "1.1 covertly hostile wog world uptone" enough to check out this very "theta" music. If you want to call that waste of vinyl "music", that is.

Now this is music! Hubbard could have taken a few lessons from the Shaggs.

She had or has a natural ability for good composition, also good exposure and focus. She apparently wasn't able to teach LRH on how to improve his photography. He pretended to be a master teacher of photography, but his photos are worse than average in my opinion.
