Then why are you an investment banker?I liked TR0 bullbait.
I liked the underlying life-philosophy of "be tough, don't grumble and pull yourself up by your bootstraps".
I didn't like the way that philosophy was twisted to make people put up with unworkable nonsense and pretend how putting up with abuse is simply "not being a pussy" and fine.
I liked the idea of exchange, when it was practiced consistently and fairly. I din't like the way that was twisted to have the church take everything from the people without giving them back anything valuable that they didn't have before.
Same reason as everyone else - I need to make a living. Also it pays a bit better than the previous jobs I had and makes better use of my skills. I feel I'm honestly contributing more ingenuity and creative problem-solving for my employer than I was able to do for my previous ones. Then why are you an investment banker?
Hubbard emulated his Dean Wilbur at his George Washington University. Hubbard used Dean Wilbur book of English Rhetoric to create dianetics and scientology. This book is the blueprint of what hubbard did and source, or were he stole it from. But, it's deep, unless you read it, you won't know. This whole "good bits of Scientology" is pretty useless. What would be useful is: "good bits and where Hubbard stole it from". That would be good information for many people.
That is your opinion, stated as if it were proven fact. That kind of statement has always annoyed me. It would read better if prefaced with "I think" or "it seems to me". FWIW. No insult intended.Hubbard emulated his Dean Wilbur at his George Washington University. Hubbard used Dean Wilbur book of English Rhetoric to create dianetics and scientology. I have two facts, one is hubbard's report card showing he took Dean Wilbur English Rhetoric course at George Washington University. The other is Hubbard's letter to his Dean Wilbur stating he would use his Rhetoric book to write a book. That is your opinion, stated as if it were proven fact. Those may be your "reasonable" assumptions, but they remain solely your opinion. You should study more on the difference between proven facts and assumptions. Might help.I have two facts, one is hubbard's report card showing he took Dean Wilbur English Rhetoric course at George Washington University. Would you like me to post those things, although I have already in my Dean Wilbur tread on ESMB?
Also, did you at least look at the link I posted on Wilbur's book, that is click on it and read at least some of it to correlate, ie connect dots?
Or are you a part of the peanut gallery?
