It’s called “Clearwater Village Residences,” and Daphna has a fancy website about it...

In the middle of the project is a large home that is labeled “Patrick’s House.”

Think about - a closed Scientology community- I love it! From without, it would effectively be a quarantine. Let them run their ethics make-wrongs and reinforce their delusional wonderful superiority and misguided indoctrination strictly on and with each other. Save the rest of us the trouble of isolating them. Like a long parade of inmates lining up to enter the asylum. I'm all for it. See? Scientology works!

Scientology real estate investment groups might come head to head with Tampa administrations in the future. . Both will keep the actual sources of the money private. Washington is now offering to support home-buying investment groups, from the financial hub. So two can play. Comparing patterns alongside other cities, I'm guessing, Scientology already has its tendrils in Tampa politics, preventing any over expansion and land grab. Over a decade ago, banks were eager to help the city buy up territory for its sudden population boom. It did not happen, which was miraculous with the Democrats in the WH. I'd say the justice dept in Clearwater didn't want the problems that Tampa was having. Those who enjoyed their isolated comfort zone, played good cop, bad cop, and let Scientologists be the bad guys.

The C of S would strongly suggest someone in good standing buy up the property at a higher price, rather than letting some investment group of 'outsiders' get it. It's a cult after all. The cherch wouldn't want to be outbid. There's protection in that some 'declared' owner might sell to the 'wrong' purchaser, and that be a fly in the ointment.

St. Pete has been a 'retreat' area for as long as Clearwater. They've not as much money, but could still create a big presence down Cleveland Street.
