Last time we checked in on Lafayette Ronald Hubbard — a/k/a LRH 2.0, the former California prison inmate Justin Craig who says he’s the returned Scientology founder and 20th century pulp fiction hack — he was complaining to his small group of ardent followers that he was suffering from a pretty serious toothache.

Since then we’ve noticed that he’s stopped sending out messages about his tooth, so we assume that he got some dental care while he’s sitting in the Anderson County, Tennessee jail, still awaiting trial after his October 2021 arrest.

We’ve told you before that he’s facing some pretty serious felony charges of drug dealing and battery, including assaulting guards at the jail. But time and again, his trial gets pushed off as pretrial hearings continue to be set and reset.

Most recently, according to the county court docket, LRH 2.0 filed a motion to have the judge in his case recused, but that was denied on November 18, and now a new pretrial hearing date of January 13 has been sent. So, Justin/Ron will go on into yet another new year behind bars.

It's mind-boggling that with this guy's vicious (and continuing) criminal history, he's got a following who buy into his presenting himself as the new messiah who's going to bring peace and sanity and spiritual fulfillment to the world. Hubbard threw plates of food at walls, this guy body slams prison guards. The comp that comes to mind is Manson.

Justin Craig: "We are almost THERE. In fact, I'll make you a promise. If what I am about to release as METHOD 9 does not give you case gain beyond even your own expectations, I am not L. Ron Hubbard, and you can label me a liar, Deal?"

Sorry to jump the gun but - you are not L Ron Hubbard, and you are a liar (so was he)

Its interesting that he's gone from "Scientology is dead" to "Scientology is what everyone needs to do". Its also interesting that the system keeps holding him this long pre-trial. I wonder if the thinking is, "the longer we hold him, the more violent crimes to add to the charges against him". And on the other side, it serves to maintain his "martyr for the cause against the Marcabs and the psyches" fund-raising status. I don't find it out of the realm of possibility that he is Hubbard reincarnated, he's got a few similar characteristics; I just don't think it matters much.
