She’s known for her pro-Trump dresses at the Grammy Awards going back to 2017, but this year Joy Villa really changed things up.

Last May, Joy went public with her defection from Scientology, and has been very public since then describing her problems with the organization where she had been a very active celebrity for many years.

At yesterday’s Grammys red carpet in Los Angeles, she showed up with a cape that on the back read “Jesus Heals,” then turned around and showed that her outfit underneath had the words “Scientology Kills.”

That can’t make her former handlers at the Hollywood Celebrity Centre happy.

“I will fight the injustice, abuse, and spiritual violence of Scientology with my last breath,” Joy told us about her decision to wear the outfit. “I know their tactics because I lived inside it. I watched people exploited, silenced, trafficked, broken, and discarded. I watched families torn apart. I watched fear masquerade as freedom. I watched abuse renamed as religion and control renamed as truth. Silence is how systems like this survive. I refuse to be silent.”
