It has finally happened. After 40 years, they are claiming to have accomplished 10,000 people “onto or through” Solo NOTS.


This is of course not true, they count everyone who has ever been on Solo NOTs in this number, whether they died or quietly left or have been declared SP.


But they are claiming the victory so let’s take them at their word.


How coincidental that it happened on the exact day they promoted a week ago — scheduling events to announce it. Nothing contrived about this at all.





So, what does it mean? This whole campaign that Clive Rabey has been the face of since he had no wrinkles, is based on one statement by Hubbard. They used to promote it back in the early days, now it’s just the number that is talked about;





Hubbard’s words are always to be taken at face value — what he says is literal truth. Now that Scientology has 10,00o “OT’s” steering and leading the planet, we should be experiencing the golden age that Miscavige refers to so often. Problem is, there is absolutely NOTHING to show for this. According to their figures they’ve had 8,000 of them steering and leading for a decade, 9,000 or more for the last 5 years. Surely 90% of the steering and leading by these magnificent OT’s should be evident somewhere? Can they point to ANYTHING? They took credit for the Berlin wall coming down 30 years ago and for various hurricanes being steered away from Clearwater to devastate other parts of the state, but other than that…


You can be sure that they will come up with some new “game” now and this will be forgotten as if it never happened. This Hubbard quote will no longer be mentioned by anyone.


The mindlessness of the people inside the bubble is astonishing to behold.

From September 2022 to January 2024 they apparently got about 150 people onto the level - The Dog Has Almost Caught The Car.

And then they got the last 150 people onto the level in the last few months.

They've made the classic mistake of producing too much, now they'll be expected to maintain their current production level of 300+ per year. Good luck to them, the well is going to run dry. I see RPF assignments in the future, or whatever it is they're doing now.

In some respects, the tech does work 100% of the time without fail.

Outside of Scientology it generally takes a great deal of effort, compassion, and commitment to be regarded as a humanitarian.

the Scientology Completions Database shows just under 4k OT8 completions, and i would hazard a guess that most people who make it through OT7 go on to OT8, so i'd bet the number of actual OT7 completions is closer to 5k -- and given that most OT8 completions happened in the first couple of years, and a lot of the people who made it through back then are long blown or dead, the number of OT7 completions alive and in good standing may even be surprisingly small....

As mentioned, the 10K is just starts not completions. I am willing to bet that when someone goes off the level, dies before finishing, etc. they keep counting that person. So all the 10K number tells us is they got 10K people started. I'm sure if you counted all the people who never finished, who left Scientology, etc. you have more than 50% of that 10K.

The 10K number is actual starts, it isn't people who have just pledged to do it.

And I agree with you, I'd be surprised if the number of current Scientologists who are on OT7 or done with OT8 is more than 5K. I'm sure many left, never made it through for whatever reason, died, etc.

Actually 400 people routed off Solo OT7 within 6 months
About a year after I left and turned in my OT7 materials, two Class 9s from Flag
showed up to try to salvage me. (Long story.) They revealed I was the 400th
OT7 person they had visited at home. At the time I had no idea how many other
Solos Nots people had left, since I lived in a remote region. I wasn't the only one
after all, I learned.

I wouldn't let them in the house, but chatted with them outside. Told them that when
OT 8&9 were released and people began getting the "magical abilities" Ron had promised
us and I could confirm it with my own eyes, they were welcome to get back in touch with
me. They said that would be about a year away. I said, OK. We're done for now. That was '96.
Never heard from them again.
The real reason for cancelling the original OT7 package
I was told in confidence by my FSM that he had attended a closed-door briefing, where
he was told by upper SO management that one of the main motivations for scrapping the
current non-GAT Solo Nots course and inventing a new GAT one -- with a different name
-- was that the original course included all CSing for life. That's the original package as
it was sold. I had bought it and held onto it for a long time, until I was ready for it. So did
many other folks . . . the early adopters, if you will.

SO management wanted to bump all these people off that original course and put them
on the new GAT course, which included a hefty $1250 CS fee every six months. They
did this by renaming the course and cancelling the original one. Put the early adopters
on a "paying basis," if you will.

I realized the COS was being run at the very top by financial crooks. I was furious.

I wrote a scathing two-page letter to my CS and Flag and attached all my OT7 materials
I was keeping at home to audit with. Mailed it all in. End of story for me, LOL.
