In today’s New York Times blockbuster investigation of how the Trump administration has bankrupted the Kennedy Center, there’s a photo of some bad wall art that’s getting a lot of attention.
In an annex known as “The Reach,” reporters Elizabeth Williamson and Julia Jacobs found an installation of unsigned gold-plated reliefs that had been put up this summer in a part of the center that is going to stay open while the rest is closed for renovation (or, in a threat by President Trump unless his name is restored to the front of the main building, demolition).

The images depicted include Mr. Trump raising his fist after he survived a 2024 assassination attempt, the billionaire Elon Musk and Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

The Times reporters go on to say…

The artist is believed to be Trish Duggan, a major Trump donor. The center declined to comment. Ms. Duggan did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

This evening, the images are going viral, as people realize this is the same Trish Duggan who is the Church of Scientology’s most wealthy donor, and has been for decades
