1977 scientologist, in the independent field since 2005.

Not following conditions. Creating Out-PR. Openly being 1.1 and doing 3rd party actions and using generalisations.
That sounded exactly like one CMO lady from way back. This reminded me of PAC in such an epic way that I started to feel sleep deprived.

They are all in this planet. It doesn't matter which continent you are in. This is a prison planet run by the same secret cabal.
Let me try to reply using Hubbardian terms:

- Ron was the OG of all SPs, the serfacker in-chief and was not only mocking up his BTs, he was mocking up everyone else's BTs.
- The sea org is a cluster.
- Scientology is an implant.
- Dave is stuck in Ron's valence.
- Scientologists are stuck in Dave's valence and are not-ising his overts due to their lack of confront
- Slowly but surely, scientologists are losing their comm lines to everyone outside scientology. They already have no arc with anyone.
- Scientology ethics system is out-ethics.
- IAS operates on the principle: "The greatest good for the greatest number of regges".

Just a few things wrong with scientology right then and there. So, before scientology gets around to fixing what is wrong with "the prison planet", maybe it should start fixing what is wrong with itself?

If you consider it a disaster the defeat of psychiatry's plan to build gulags in Alaska, or the revelations that the CIA has been doing biochemical experimentation on the US population and now is less prone to do that, or that the IRS has been created to impose communism in the USA, and therefore we have the many petitions to abolish it, then Ok. What is true for you is true for you.
Not Scientology. Hubbard took credit for other group's work -- as usual.

When it comes to actual Hubbard "tech", it can't work in the real world.

I wonder what an Indie group would do should one of their own go to the local media and claim it was all a sham, a waste of money, and a waste of time?

How they would react would tell you an awful lot about the much vaunted "tech".

"All" is a problematic word that feels good to say but can backfire.

You seem to be frozen at the 1970s mindset.

After so many years OUT, why have you not moved beyond the dogma?

Most people have.

"It was all a sham."

Was it? Weren't at least some parts not a sham. Wasn't that what hooked many people?

All shams have hooks ... but scientology was a lot more damaging to people when compared to something like tooth whitening toothpaste which is also a sham that makes no difference to your teeth but fortunately doesn't try to control your every thought and move, destroy families and potentially cost a fortune, all of which scientology does.

Which specific parts of scientology do you feel were/are worth anything @Veda?

Great post. My thoughts exactly.
Besides, the "hook" was never the point, IMHO. We're talking about a huge waste of time and money and in the official C of S case, we are talking about an awful "thing".

How awful? Well I think most people here know just how awful. Nuff sed.

For example, a Scientologist listening attentively and acknowledging.

That can be enough to cause a person to further become involved.

yes Veda, it was all a sham, although there were some parts or aspects that were true,

but in the end there are no clears or OT's. Don't you think? That's the final conclusion.

Nobody has returned from Hubbard's auditing procedures from death to resume his/her life with full recall.

I know it can ... that's my whole point and that's why it's such an evil cult.

The marketing hooks were clever back in the day and conned many susceptible people, some of whom remain hooked but now it's known throughout the world as the nasty, controlling cult that it is ... I'm not going to pretend I believe otherwise to protect some silly arse indies's feelings. Those days are well gone.

LOL

shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!! No one is allowed to inform Scientologists or Indies that they are the duped marks of an avariciously criminal cult hoax.

RULE: Only Scientologists and Indies are allowed to give others "Reality" factors.

Kindly follow the rules and always grant beingness to the Operating Thetans.

RULE: Never DevT big beings while they are productively salvaging this sector.

.

I no longer listen attentively and acknowledge. Lol!

Of course you do. You're missing the point.

When a vulnerable person is stridently told that Scientology is all bad, all B.S., and then encounters Scientology and has a good experience, that can drastically increase the sucking power of Scientology - the power, that is, to suck someone IN and hold on to them.

That good experience might be of just one Scientologist, but it can leave a big impression.

Scientology, which is rotten at the core, often disguises itself. It has many layers and compartments and front groups. It uses goodness and uses good people.

That this is difficult to convey is advantagous to Scientology which, most definitely, does not want to be accurately and fully described.

Funny how one can "not remember" shit for years and then one or two sentences from speaking to a stillinner, and BAM!

Shit came back.

It was obvious fifty years ago that it was a nasty controlling cult. Most people, walking into an Org, saw the giant picture of Hubbard, and left immediately.

I already answered that. You seem to be another member of a society that is ruled by pedophile and child sacrificing commie politicians, currently engaging in reducing the population of what they consider "usles eaters".

....and David Miscavige will fix all that, right?

ahh... Cuitlahuac is an Independent Scientologist (see thread title). He thinks Miscavige is a bad guy and a squirrel.
