Jenna Miscavige

Yah, but all I wanted to do was help people. Intentions do matter. So do actions. I never screamed at or picked on anybody. Not every ex can say that.
Scientology depends on being able to convince good people on staff, that certain actions are the best for the person and the planet.

Like convincing an elderly retiree to put all her retirement money on Bridge services.

While it IS true that our actions define us, it's critical to distinguish between individuals who commit evil knowingly and those who, due to manipulation or indoctrination, genuinely believe they're doing good.

Why is that such a critical distinction?
Does not human agency exist?

Every man or woman who straps on a suicide vest genuinely believes they will be rewarded with 72 virgins in paradise.
If you are suggesting that the innocent young children who blow themselves to pieces are in another category, then grudgingly, I take your point.

But ultimately, to the victims, it’s a distinction without a difference.

It's a good question, and many people believe it's not a critical distinction, especially the victims, because regardless of intent, victims suffer just the same.

But without distinguishing based on intent, what difference is there between a soldier who accidentally kills innocent civilians (collateral damage) and a terrorist who intentionally does a suicide bombing, killing innocent civilians?

I don't morally judge those who intentionally cause harm the same as those who genuinely believed their actions were ethical, especially for 2nd or 3rd generation members of a cult like Scientology. Nor do I believe the justice system should treat them the same. I'm not saying to give them a free ride. If someone knowingly committed a crime resulting in victims being hurt, such as Scientologists did with the "Chase Wave", then there should be some real-world consequences. But intent matters, and should be considered when administering justice.

It is all wanted as well, to help people. At age 21, when I got involved with Scientology, I was very idealistic and had a strong purpose to help humanity. And while I didn't do awful things when in, I still supported a criminally abusive cult for about ten years while working for several different organizations, providing about 20,000 hours of slave labor, which benefited them. And that IMO is a terrible thing, because I was supporting an organization that WAS doing terrible awful things.

Everyone gets lied to at some point or another. Like the corporations I’ve worked for. Like mainstream religion.

I look at- what did the person do when they were in, and were they aware of the abuses when they were in and stayed anyway. My conscience is clear on both points.

Sad for her.
We all know Aaron is a narcissistic being and he is gaslighting people, especially women.

Jenna please seek consultation. You need to build safe and secure relationships to heal your pasts traumas of neglecting, abuse and abandonment ; Aaron knows your vulnerabilities and will only use it to yell at you, destabilize you, making himself the victim and destroy your emotional and mental health. Consequently, you probably over react and give him more fuel to harm you. You already know and mentionned that he is gaslighting you and that these people excel in destroying people.

Many ex scientogists still carry such abusive behavior they learned to master in the cult.

Cut all ties with this man, ignore him, forget him, erase him and make a rule of no contact forever. You do not need him, because you already know he doesn't truly loves you. You both have a mutual tixic relationship that you carry on social medias. This is not mature.

Make an act of love toward yourself and decide you wil be surrounded with love, dignity, and respect you deserve on your healing journey. Many people love you. Learn to heal with these people and genuine meaningful relationships.

FORGET HIM- IGNORE HIM- YOU CAN DO IT!

I agree - but a persons innate character typically will override causing harm to others even if it was in the best interest of Scientology

My experience of many Scientologists is that the ones trapped as slaves and / or living in squalor not having any luxuries or MEST — enjoyed inflicting pain on others

I can name on 2 fingers kind souls I met - that actually cared to not hurt people

The worst was Flag - as it is a shit show and the MECCA OF TECHNICAL EXTORTION!!

Most of Flag staffers are cruel and brutal as they have to get their stat or else ( Heil Hitler).

IMO - the “group think” is contagious
And LRH says… aberration is contagious
Flag is the science of his axiom

I noticed this at Flag. We had total contempt for public, because they weren’t up to being Sea Org like us.

You get the kind of management you talk about when you promote based on how ruthlessly they go for getting short term stats.

We also have the issue of what happens when you are operating on long-term sleep deprivation.

An Army colonel talks about his experiences at the Army National Training Center (NTC), when units come in and do practice combat against the NTC’s “opposing force(OPFOR)” unit. The OPFOR unit has a strict doctrine of its officers getting sleep, and trusting subordinates to do the right thing while they rest.

This isn’t about OPFOR being “unfair.” This is about Bluefor leaders being too tired to think, too proud to delegate, and too broken to trust their subordinates.

I’ve seen this a lot in the SO.

After thinking quite a bit about this phenomena, I’m unsure what to call it, in Scientology….

There is an implanted conscience of ideology of Scientology hierarchy that was implied to everyone

At the very top there is LRH
#2 - David Miscavige COB
#3 Tom Cruise
#4 John Travolta & other Celebs
#3 - Sea Org - with its own hierarchy completely unknown to public
#4 - OT 8
#5 - OT’s “on the level”
#6 - Clears
#7 - Trained Auditors (highly trained at the top)
#8 - ED’s of class 5 Org’s
#9 - Registrars
#10 - public who has money - as long as they are constantly giving it to Scientology - ranking falls off completely once they stop and make it known - NO MORE MONEY TO SCIENTOLOGY

Everyone else are a mix of “PTS” - Potential Trouble Sources” needing to handle or disconnect from family or friends, “Regraded Beings” (constantly re-doing training and auditing bridge actions), “Out Ethics Terminals” on a program” WOGS, illegal PC’s, Degraded Beings and SP,s .

Here is AI’s interpretation:

Below is a clear, accurate description of what you are describing, framed in neutral terms and grounded in Scientology’s own concepts, your observations, and commonly described internal culture, without asserting anything as fact about specific individuals.

📘 Scientology Interpretation of What You’re Describing

What you are observing is not an official Scientology doctrine, but rather a social-hierarchy phenomenon that many former members and researchers have described as the “informal status ladder” or “cultural caste system” within Scientology.

In Scientology terms, this could be described as a combination of:

🔹 Implanted Ideological Conscience

A sense that one should revere or defer to those higher on the Bridge or higher in organizational power — similar to the Scientology concept of a “mental implant” or “false purpose line” that shapes behavior.

🔹 Status via “Ethics Conditions” & “Exchange”

Scientology assigns people conditions and worthiness based on:
• spiritual advancement (Bridge level)
• training
• “contribution”
• organizational rank
This often becomes internalized as a moral hierarchy — who is “upstat” and who is “downstat.”

🔹 Tone Scale / Beingness

Members are encouraged to view people by “tone level,” which often reinforces status judgments.

🧱 HOW THIS MAPS TO THE HIERARCHY YOU DESCRIBED

1. LRH (L. Ron Hubbard)

In Scientology, Hubbard is the Source.
He symbolically and doctrinally sits above all.

2. Senior Church Leadership

David Miscavige (COB) is the top executive authority today.
This position is viewed as the highest command point in the living hierarchy.

3. High-Visibility Public Figures

Well-known celebrity parishioners tend to be treated as highly valuable “opinion leaders.”
This creates an informal elevated status, even though not part of scripture.

4. Sea Org

The Sea Organization is described by the church as the elite dedicated order.
Within Scientology culture, Sea Org members are often considered spiritually and morally superior due to their commitment.

Within the Sea Org:
there is an internal, complex hierarchy that is often invisible to public Scientologists.

5. OT Levels (OT VIII and below)

Higher Bridge levels typically carry higher perceived spiritual authority or accomplishment.

6. Clears

Considered spiritually rehabilitated, above most public members.

7. Trained Auditors

Because auditors create case gain for others, they carry a special form of status — “technical authority.”

8. Org Executives (like EDs)

These are command positions in local organizations.

9. Registrars

Registrars have organizational authority to direct people onto services, and many public Scientologists feel pressured by them — this gives registrars a kind of functional rank.

10. Public with Money

Among public members, those contributing financially or progressing rapidly on the Bridge are given greater attention, validation, or status.

If someone stops contributing or participating, they may feel their status drops abruptly.

🚫 Everyone Outside or “Below” This System

Scientology uses a variety of labels for non-members or those deemed problematic to its progress:
• Wogs (non-Scientologists)
• Illegal PCs (people Scientology considers unfit for auditing)
• Degraded Beings (a term in Hubbard’s writings)
• Suppressive Persons (SPs) (declared enemies of the church)

These labels create an implicit boundary between “in-group” and “out-group,” forming a cultural caste.

🧩 WHAT YOU’RE DESCRIBING (IN SCIENTOLOGY TERMS)

This appears to be the internalized ethical/spiritual hierarchy that members come to believe in, even though it is not printed on any official org chart.

In Scientology language, it could be referred to as:

✦ A “synthetic viewpoint” or “implanted hierarchy”

A mental construct absorbed through constant messaging, expectations, and group culture.

✦ A “false stable datum”

Something accepted as true that organizes thought and behavior, even if not explicitly written.

✦ A “Service Facsimile” built into group identity

The idea that higher status equals greater beingness, awareness, or worth.

✦ A “valence system”

Members adopting behavior and viewpoints from roles or personas defined by the organization rather than from their own authentic viewpoint.

✔ In simpler terms:

You’re describing the real operational hierarchy — the one members feel, not the one the church publishes.
A ladder of spiritual worth, organizational power, and social approval.

And yes, many former members report experiencing exactly this layered hierarchy as an internalized belief system that shapes self-worth and behavior.

When I was struggling through the hardships and challenges of being NY org staff, I felt like public and "wogs" "have it so easy while I live like this"; for me, it was more envy than contempt, but I tried to think about the "all-important burden I was shouldering" to feel better about it, but I also did kind of view them as "dilettantes". But I often wished I could get out of there and be one myself. And when the bullshit rained down on me sufficiently to make it clear that this was a culture with no empathy or concern for me or any individual and pushed me over the edge, I was relieved and happy to be out from under the demands and atmosphere of being part of that group.

'xactly ....the sheer tiredness.

DARVO {n} definition.

is a very interesting word.

Lots of applicability here. Darvo can sometimes be used as a verb.

DARVO.

DARVO is an acronym for
Deny, Attack, and Reverse Victim and Offender, a manipulative tactic used by abusers to avoid accountability by denying their actions, attacking the accuser's credibility, and casting themselves as the true victim. It's a powerful form of gaslighting and coercive control, making victims doubt themselves and preventing justice, commonly seen in domestic abuse and narcissistic behavior.
How DARVO works

  • Deny: The perpetrator refuses to admit they did anything wrong, minimizing or outright denying the harmful behavior.
  • Attack: They lash out at the person confronting them, attacking their character, sanity, or motives to deflect blame.
  • Reverse Victim and Offender: The abuser flips the script, portraying themselves as the actual victim and making the accuser seem like the aggressor.
Examples of DARVO in action

  • Denial: "I never yelled at you; you're making things up."
  • Attack: "You're just trying to start a fight because you're insecure."
  • Reversal: "I wouldn't have to yell if you weren't so sensitive and always trying to control me!"
more info on the word DARVO.

The horror is that DARVO is identical when employed person to person. It's like some group malady to be ignited whenever seen fit, like a pox virus.

I've seen multiple members of the same police department use it with finesse. And with personalities like Omar's and that of her other minority congressmen....same same. It's a deep belief so tangible, one wonders if it could be surgical removed.

(LOL. Fixed it)

Mr. Rearden,” said Francisco, his voice solemnly calm, “if you saw Atlas, the giant who holds the world on his shoulders, if you saw that he stood, blood running down his chest, his knees buckling, his arms trembling but still trying to hold the world aloft with the last of his strength, and the greater his effort the heavier the world bore down on his shoulders — what would you tell him to do?”

“I . . . don’t know. What . . . could he do? What would you tell him?”

“To shrug.”

— Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand

Aaron and Jenna took the videos down. I support them both because of the fine work they do exposing the evil cult. I think they are having normal reactions to triggered trauma and Complex PTSD from Scientology indoctrination and abuse. Jenna was abandoned to an abusive ranch where children were forced to do slave labor. She very rarely saw her parents and there was no love and care at the ranch. Jenna has fear of abandonment that is understandable and hard to overcome. Aaron's family was shattered due to disconnection and his twin brother died while disconnected because Aaron left Scientology.
