We made a note yesterday about the terrific new investigation of Scientology that appeared at the Wall Street Journal’s website on Sunday night.
But this morning, one of our readers pointed out to us, the piece by Kevin T. Dugan and Alexander Osipovich is on the newspaper’s front page.
And it’s so rare to see Scientology taken apart like this at the Journal, we figured it was worth pointing out twice!
For years we’ve been telling you about how Scientology recruits businesses to operate as fronts for the organization, particularly professionals like chiropractors and dentists, who then sometimes get in trouble for forcing Scientology on their employees and clients.
Scientology also benefits when these businesses donate huge sums to the church, even when it means endangering the health of these businesses. Remember, for example, Richie Acunto and how he torpedoed his own auto insurance empire because he was chasing trophies as a big donor?
Well, the Wall Street Journal has uncorked a real beauty of an investigation of what it calls “a tiny startup with big dreams” named Dream Exchange which is trying to become a stock exchange in Chicago targeted specifically at Black-owned businesses.
