More Scientology allegations about Dream Exchange, now from a former executive

The Wall Street Journal’s investigation of Chicago startup Dream Exchange was a hard-hitting look at a business that wants to become a stock exchange (pending SEC approval) catering to Black-owned and other minority businesses.
But Journal reporters Kevin T. Dugan and Alexander Osipovich found troubling allegations about the small company and its Scientologist CEO Joe Cecala, who we reported is a Gold Meritorious donor, meaning that he’s given at least $1 million to the IAS, Scientology’s membership organization.
The Journal reporters found investors who had not been told that Dream Exchange was run by Scientologists and on Scientology principles, and that there were complaints that Scientology was being forced on employees.
Since that initial investigation, the Journal reported that former employees have been interviewed by the SEC, which is apparently investigating these complaints.
And now, a former executive has posted more damning allegations about the corporate culture at the startup. Jeffery Ferrell posted the statement at his LinkedIn account, accusing the business of treating its Black employees very differently than the Black investors it was trying to lure.
