Jeffrey Augustine and Jamie Mustard discuss the tragic deaths of 2nd Generation Scientologists Johnny Lewis and Alexander Jentzsch.
This discussion is part of the world of the “Lost Generation” Jamie discusses in his new book “Child X: A Memoir of Slavery, Poverty, Celebrity, and Scientology.”

Johnny Lewis was born into Scientology. He became a rising Hollywood star who appeared for two seasons in the Sons of Anarchy. He dated Katy Perry. His parents were Scientology public OT’s. Johnny was also a public member of Scientology and did not join the Sea Org.
Everything was going well for Johnny until he had a motorcycle accident near Twentynine Palms in California’s Mojave Desert. After the accident, Johnny underwent a drastic personality change. He may have suffered a traumatic brain injury. What we know is that Scientology did not help him. Johnny’s life came to a horrific end at age 28 after he killed his landlady and then fell to his death from the roof of her hillside home in Los Feliz, California.

Alexander Jentzsch was born into the Sea Org. His father was Heber Jentzsch, the President of the Church of Scientology International. His mother was Karen de la Carriere who was a Class XII Case Supervisor who was personally trained by L. Ron Hubbard on the Flagship Apollo. Despite appearances, Alexander had a very hard life in Scientology. Alexander joined the Sea Org at age 8 after being told he would be able to spend more time with his father. This never happened.

Karen routed out of the Sea Org in 1990 after being subjected to the hellishly brutal running program in which Sea Org members are forced to run in circles around a palm tree all day in the hot sun at Scientology’s Gold Base in San Jacinto, California. This program is designed to destroy Sea Org members and reduce them to a state which is near death in both psychological and physical terms.

Karen and Heber were ordered to divorce by the Sea Org. Karen was given a $90,000 Freeloader Bill which she had to pay to stay in a relationship with her son and friends in Scientology. After Karen publicly spoke out against Scientology in 2010, she was declared an SP and Alexander disconnected from her. Alexander Jentzsch met his tragic death at age 27.

Jamie Mustard’s book Child X is available on Amazon as his graphic novel Hybred.

The story that Jamie tells about his childhood in Scientology, and the many others who went through similar experiences, is an important one. Society is less tolerant of the type of abuse they experienced when it is done to children. I hope the mainstream media gives proper attention to the stories told in his book. :)
