Scientology Patron Meritorious Joy Villa again endorses Ronda Baldwin-Kennedy for the U.S. House of Representatives to represent California's 26th Congressional District. The election is November 3, 2020. Baldwin-Kennedy advanced from the primary election on March 3, 2020.

6/28/20: Scientology Patron Meritorious Joy Villa will be a guest speaker at a rally in San Diego to recall California Governor Gavin Newsom.
In addition to Villa, guest speakers will include MMA star Tito Ortiz, Steve Franks, Woody Woodrum and Dr. Cordie Williams. Musical performance by Coffee Anderson.
The rally is being organized by 1776 Forever Free, which appears to be against mandatory social distancing and/or face mask laws, and perhaps also mandatory vaccination of school children.

I am honestly disappointed. I had always respected her as perhaps the only Scientologist who hadn't blocked me.
I covered her, and will continue to cover her, because I believe she is important.
To give you an idea of where I am coming from, I don't pay much attention to Tom Cruise, Kirstie Alley or most other celebrities because I believe that currently, in present time, Joy Villa is more important -- and indeed far more important -- to the world of Scientology.

I wonder if anyone actually had the balls to order Joy to block you or face ethics, or did they simply convince her that we are all entheta generators? Or maybe they did not and Joy is just humoring them. I've seen some people inside scientology do that.

I don't know why she blocked me. While I know correlation doesn't equal causation, it may be relevant that she apparently blocked me after the following tweet:
My identifying her as "#Scientology Patron Meritorious @Joy_Villa" may have been the cause of her blocking me.
I believe I have always written about her respectfully. As I said above, I report on her because I believe she is important. Unlike many, I dont dismiss her. On the contrary, I think the vast majority of critics and Scientology watchers greatly underestimate her. I do not.

If I was a Scientologist trying to make an impact in the political world, the last thing I would ever want is for anyone to become aware that I was a Scientologist. That's a formidable deal breaker in virtually ANY political venue.
I think Joy may have learned that lesson the hard way---in her recent exploratory foray into a CONGRESSIONAL RUN for office that was DOA.
Can anyone even imagine trying to get elected by convincing voters to IGNORE 70 years of Scientology's fraud, lies, corruption, criminality and creepy crazy?

I'm in full agreement with you right there. Most scientology celebs may be cash donors, but propaganda-wise they are dead weight. Joy is not. She is a real asset for Dave and the church and if it wasn't for her fondness for tinfoil conspiracy and the obvious scn connection, she would now have a career in the GOP.
Even without that career, she is very dangerous and her being in the church is one of the few good cards left in Dave's hand now.
