For most of us, however, we’re still several hours away from the party getting started. It’s been another great year here in the Bunker, and once again we want to thank all the contributors and correspondents and tipsters who help us keep this thing going.
We started this year-end review ten days ago by noting how Scientology’s relationship with the White House is one of the big stories we’ve been covering this year. And more and more, other people are getting the message.
Yesterday, conservative commenter Erick Erickson noted at X that a “Lot of Scientologists hanging out in the President’s orbit lately.” And Leah Remini called it “accurate.”
That set off some media coverage, but all year we’ve been pointing out the connections between the second Trump administration and high-level Scientologists. In fact, it made number 6 on our top 20 stories of the year list, as you’ll see below.
So let’s get to our year-end party: First up is Observer with her favorite shoops of the year, then our list of our favorite 20 stories of the year, and then we’ll finish up our year in review with the highlights of November and December.
