(whatever that is) According to John Mcmaster, he would run a "process" on himself, and if he liked it, he would order it to be issued for everyone else, without bothering to get any larger sampling. Mcmaster was frequently reigning him in; in Mcmaster's words, "Hubbard was constantly prematurely ejaculating"

that to me is the one thing that really 'works' if anything in scn, from my perspective with some training in therapy -- when a therapist actually listens to the client, which is the key to all modalities. i run across stories of people really liking particular auditors, and it sounds like it was because they were listened to -- probably by people with natural empathetic listening abilities, who used those and did what they did more in spite of Hubbard's structure than because of it.

the idea of a therapy that is rote and based on things like lists, is unworkable. but besides being overly structured, Hubbard's methodology is actually rather directive, such as assuming that past life memories exist and all people should have them -- and then using subtly leading techniques under hypnotic 'reverie' to extract them, that will pretty much always fall into the trap of eliciting imagined false memories instead, such as happened in the Bridey Murphy case, or the infamous cases of allegations of satanic ritual abuse in preschools.

Yes, it is funny how some processing tools work and other just don't hit the mark, even within the same sets and grade level. I think it's because we're more or less oriented in a certain way by the masses we're sandwiched between. One thing won't let you have another thing, until it's out of the way. I have this thing with Alan Walter's material where I never get it at first. It hits me out of the blue...weeks later, Then, I get the aha moment. Lolol. I'm dense that way, and it's gotta filter down through a bit . But, it will eventually get there.

Your army buddies weren't in the diving squad were they, Chess? I'd be guessing that becoming a hermit is the result of injuries, trauma or addictions?

You do feel alone and isolated when you don't have the same shared experiences with anyone. You just don't fit in there anymore once something horrific happens.

Running R3R, I would hit upon some occluded atrocity committed while a soldier. My whole body would lock up with the memory. I'd try to freeze the motion while inside the killing machine; (phalanx) way back in some ancient Greek wars. No vias, like planes or tanks or drones. Kinda had the notion I'd be born female, so I'd never be in that situation again.

A decade on staff is a long time. My husband wore out after 3 years. No money, no hope, no future, no more wife. Everyone loved him. Handled public. Division 6. It's nice to have people you work with and for, want badly for you to stay. It feels almost like a mini-death to give up an all engrossing position.....and not have another immediately there. At least for me.

Didn't add this, as it's tough to live with but it's more than true. It is a sad aspect of staff members that those close to you in the real world suffer terribly, usually in silence. It's a cold fact that comes home eventually and more than I care to remember, that effect never really goes away. It can put love to the test. It screws up so many potentials you can't recover, not fully anyway.

What I really like about Filbert is the lower bridge auditing he proposes and the importance of the grades done properly, especially the Drug Rdn and the way it's run, not the same as the Cof$ does it. Even when it's over the PC can add to it as they come up with more items later on. Was thinking about writing a short dissertation on what I reckon of it, maybe?? I was sup when the co-audit came out on it and had to do the auditing steps in the academy - if I wasn't busy enough. Another of Master Squirrel Miscavige's dull ideas. Even Hubbard said it was to be done in the HGC.
No, those army buddies were senior NCOs and just faded into oblivion after retirement, especially with alcohol. As beings they just seemed to shut up shop spiritually. NFI (not f..king interested), was their response about talking about their experiences. I was the last diver in the regiment, there were only ever 3 of us, then 2. Diving sort of faded out after I left. I did the occasional bit of police assistance back then. They were always short staffed. I really salute those guys, unsung heros, dirty and dangerous work. Didn't appreciate being called out at all hours though. More than once I've dived hungover. Mainly searching for bodies or suspected bodies of missing people.

Yeah, soldiering is a case creator and a half. It really helps if your auditor understands the life. Atrocities indeed, hard or damn near impossible to erase some of them.

The OT repairs list for clusters locked into groups by a specific charge. Maybe a kick start and giving sleepers something to be isn't that kooky. How many times have they mirrored different beingness already. It's constantly changing. Filbert didn't buy that angle, He said if you're complaining about fleas, you haven't run deep enough on the grades. He felt that running deep enough would erase all the walls between any valences.

I couldn't believe the crap coming down lines on a constant stream of authoritarian tunnel visioned overkill. I was simply a CL 4 techie plying the experience I'd learned. For the most part doing suping/auditing, life repairs, PTS CS1s, basic Dns, grades, endless repairs etc. That era all went to hell anyway. I flew up the OT levels after that and NOTs was an easy to overrun joke. It's not reality in my opinion, handling a secondary at best. I approach the upper bridge with caution and eyes wide open now. It either works or it doesn't, there's plenty of stuff out there, not necessarily under the Scientology logo if you are so inclined.
The best of Scientology I observed/experienced was simply getting in good comm with a PC and auditing something they understood and wanted done. Instead, they were pushed into lala land by a one size fits all technology and the regges waiting to pounce armed with pressurized bs they knew nothing about nor experienced personally. I hate their tech! So glad to be out of that prison. How could I have been so duped for so long, one of life's mysteries.
I got a real kick out of Filbert's book reading his rendition of the Drug Rdn. I thought I knew that action well, did heaps of it, ran co-audits on it, but really, I didn't have a clue. Would love to run it on someone now - if fact it ran on me so fast when I read it I didn't need a meter or session. I'll copy and paste a bit and hope the concept gets across. I would have loved to have been audited on it with these concepts in mind back in the day. I'll just paste what is different compared to the CofS crap & you be the judge, but keep in mind from my perspective of experience of addressing new cases this rdn would bypass so much later introverting out gradient dribble and introduce and instead educate the PC to what they are themselves rather rapidly with someone to talk to about their life & who would listen and have a toolkit of rudiment type actions, R3R etc to patch up any spills. I am definitely of the opinion now the Drug Rdn should never be co-audited. (If I remember correctly even Hubbard said it is a HGC action). You need to know how to audit a fairly uneducated PC. Oh, one other thing suggested at that time that even later on when the person has finished the rdn and is doing something else they are encouraged to add to the list if they think of something and you get whatever new 'drug' the now educated PC realizes about later. It's simply run when appropriate and is done because the PC wants it done, it makes the PC more at cause and validates them. EPs should never be set in administrative concrete for the most part. Don't get me wrong I detest the Church of Scientology and will not endorse anything of that suppressive organization, quite the opposite. Hubbard had however, imo, a brief moment when he was surrounded by some brilliantly talented people, who btw wrote the majority of workable procedures for Hubbard's approval. He had a choice of directions and instead chose to declare them all and steal their ideas and then altered them to suit whatever weird agenda he had in mind. I won't present the full Drg Rdn procedure, instead just noting the concept of why and to what it is done. Here's what Filbert suggested:

The time track is actual in that it is made of matter, energy, space, and time as well as thought. Those who cannot confront matter, energy, space and time think it is composed only of thought. Drug Rundown auditing is probably the easiest auditing that there is because it is automatic. The mind, the bank, the GE, the body, and the person, (the whole kit and caboodle over there holding the cans) wants those drugs and the engrams connected with them out, and so it just runs beautifully. Occasionally, you will encounter a preclear who can't go back track and that is because they are druggies or in the middle of some huge secondary on someone passing on, something of this order. So, this is handled by either running the secondaries or the Drug Rundown itself.

We live in times where more things than ever are addicting. Coming to this board or even paying attention to Scientology things as much as I have is addicting. I love crossword puzzles too. I enjoy solving mystery problems and the 'unsolvable' problems that sank my battleship. A thetan never gives up.....he'll try to still get even. Lol

I waffle back and forth over the validity of having to remember time track. Sometimes I do realize it's the occlusions that keep you stuck and repeating the same mistakes and addictions. When these blow apart they take a LOT with them and you've a new viewpoint. But, Filbert is right in that you have to have an educated PC, and track has to be accessible to him. Hubbard specifically promised that track occlusions would be handled on OT VIII, but said that about OT II also.

I didn't get much from the OT levels, but what I did find rapidly was the energy packages or minds I was packing and holding onto. Couldn't make a decision as to whether they were other beings or entire mental packages I'd stolen or dissociated. I did know I could juggle them and wasn't currently identical in space and time. The all time blow out win came while running Who or What would represent, listed dynamics, in order. These were all identities. It's also an L10 action verbatim. The condition change was that NOTHING...NOTHING anymore occupied the same viewpoint as me. Must've been a rehab of some major satori of the past. It came fast and easy and lasted a year. Soooo, I'm on the fence about what BTs are.

There was a fellow who blew the C of S after he did his Ls and he wrote a piece called Animal Minds. His name was Michael Mourier and he now lives in Alaska. His shared a Tibetan view, saying what he considered the major addictions and strong negative emotions to be. His new yogi master said they're basically old old archetypical creations and become your driving demons. It's almost as if Anger and Apathy and Cruelty and Sloth are entities to be run out like you'd do on OT line items.

George White in an interview with Ron Miscavige Sr., stated while he was on original OT VIII, in 1988, his check sheet instructed to list these negative compulsions and negative dramatization of life.... and run them as an entity. I could not believe I heard him say that. Of course, Hubbard stopped compiling his own stuff.

I have little to say on the Drug Rdn now really, its concepts are simple really, except I feel we were ripped off by not having that process and simple ones like that available. All the big rush for OT etc with all the hype bypassed what was needed the most. No wonder the Church fell over. It eroded its own foundation. An even a bigger truth is that Scientology is not a substitute for living. Damn Hubbard and his Sea Org!
