In May, along with much of the entertainment media we celebrated John Travolta’s stunning new look that he premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
JT was there to celebrate his directorial debut and the screening of his film, Propeller One-Way Night Coach, which was based on his own 1997 children’s book.
Although the movie got roughed up a bit by critics, it was obviously a big moment for Travolta, and he marked it with a look that, he said, evoked the great film directors of the past.
That may be the case, but we have now learned more about JT’s new “look,” and where it came from.
Taking credit for it is an Italian designer named Matteo Perin, who posted a photo of himself with Travolta before the two of them headed for the red carpet at Cannes.
“Honored to dress John Travolta for the world premiere of his deeply personal film, Propeller One-Way Night Coach, and celebrate his well-deserved honorary Palme d’Or,” Perin wrote at his Instagram account.
