Some of the things that went on last night at HowdyCon 2026 in New London, Connecticut, as we opened our shindig with pizza and drinks at a speakeasy and with many folks wearing 20s garb, just for fun.
— The former ED of a Scientology “Ideal Mission” who just left his post a year ago was on hand, and we were very glad to meet him and will hope to have his story later at the Bunker.
— Marc Headley told some humorous anecdotes, if you can believe it. (The guy is such a riot.)
— Claire Headley let us in on some details that the rest of HowdyCon will hear today at our main event, and it is going to be some astounding stuff, people.
— Attendees had come from as far away as England, Canada, Oregon, and even one former Sea Org member who had come from the Yucatan — and it wasn’t his first HowdyCon!
So many more wonderful things that we are still absorbing. It was personally gratifying, of course, to hear from longtime readers of this enterprise who told us how much it means to them to have a story to read each morning at 7 am Eastern.
