On Monday I took a trip down to New Haven accompanied by two friends, Holly and Carmen, who like to joke around and degrade this evil cult just as much as I do.
It was a beautiful, sunny Connecticut day in the mid-70s, with a light breeze and low humidity. Perfect weather for a look-see.
We arrived at Scientology’s temporary org at 980 Whalley Avenue around 11:30 AM. The first thing we noticed was the back parking lot.
If this image looks familiar, it’s because it’s the same two vehicles that were there three years ago, of what I took in Nov. 2023…
They were the same two cars, the infamous yellow Volunteer Ministers van and a white vehicle. That’s it. No signs of life, no public, no active foot traffic.
In fact, if you look at the comparative photo from my November 2023 visit, it appears to be the exact same car and van parked in the exact same spots. The car with the snow plow was gone.
