One of the standard features of Scientology is the “graduation,” when someone is asked to give a little speech about the “wins” they’ve gained after what might be a long and grueling regimen of auditing or coursework.
And one of the milestones for a Scientologist along the “Bridge to Total Freedom” is reaching the state of “Clear.”
When founder L. Ron Hubbard began his movement in 1950, “Clear” was the ultimate goal. But it was soon surpassed by even greater states of being, so that now Clear is just an intermediate step on the way to the “Operating Thetan” or OT auditing levels.
But still, going Clear remains a very big deal in Scientology, and so those who reach it get a special moment. In this case, members of the Stuttgart, Germany “org” have assembled to greet a young woman who has gone Clear, and she gives a brief speech.
One of our helpers managed to get this out to us, so we can see what a Clear graduation looks like in 2026, and we’ve provided a transcript in English of what’s being said.
We’re curious about any reactions from our ex-Scientologist readers who can tell us how much this feels familiar to them, or if things have changed since their day.
