BREAKING NEWS Israel launches 'preemptive strikes' on Iran as Netanyahu vows Jewish state won't be 'victim of a nuclear holocaust' and declares 'speci

I am wondering why the Church of Scientology does not go to Iran and pass out THE WAY TO HAPPINESS booklets to the soldiers there who are firing all the rockets at Israel.

What happened to "A WORLD WITHOUT WAR"?

Why isn't Ron's tech working?

Can't the Volunteer Ministers go there with their yellow raincoats and get inside the nuclear facilities and
2 way-com with the guys that have the keys and codes to launch nuclear strikes at Israel and USA? If they
are angry at Americans and Israelis all they need to do is go a little higher on the tone scale -- to boredom.
Ron says that will bring them up to boredom on the tone scale.

I am not sure how it works exactly but if they come up to boredom, they probably will be too bored to launch
nuclear attacks, or something like that.

My greatest hope for the Middle East and Iran is that the VM's will get some great photos with some smiling
Iranian terrorists while they are holding up copies of The Way To Happiness and giving a "thumbs up". Those
photos can then be used in Scientology promo to prove that wherever Ron's tech goes, peace follows!

..

This post deserves a Commendation chit.

I've been thinking, all this rhetoric of "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" - well, it's the same rhetoric that ISIS spewed when they raped, burned alive and decapitated all those men, women and children that they attacked. This caused a lot of pain and death.

However, both pain and death are but emotions on the Tone Scale so why can't these PCs be found by the VMs and processed up the Tone Scale to a win?

Scientology, the only game where everybody wins.

...that would be Ketanji Brown Jackson laughing as if the question posed is absurd when answering that she's not a biologist when asked to define such an esoteric notion as "woman". How nonsensical to expect her to be able to provide a definition.

🤣🤣🤣

Kentanji Brown Jackson, yikes! A supreme court judge who does not know what a woman is...or is terrified to say what it is. It's hard to decipher which is worse! LOL.

But there is another very different and surprising depth and beauty to that concept of "sprezzatura"*— a coined term from an Italian author in the 1500s. It can describe something quite aesthetically elegant in--even other-worldly-- in the way of interacting with others and with life. It is "other level" mastery and shares very lovely and similar elements with the Japanese concept/term "Shibui".

"To the Japanese, beauty comes in many forms. Its ultimate is described as Shibui – a concept of inner meaning rather than superficial adornment, of simplicity and restraint, tranquility and naturalness, subtle and unobtrusive beauty."

Why oh why am I derailing this thread with these words. Don't know, lol. But perhaps the nearly divine skills of courtiers and great leaders in history all have these "sprezzatura" characteristics. It's a quite fascinating dimension that might explain both the dismal failure and wildly surreal success of certain political leaders. I'll just leave a wiki link here for anyone that likes such things. . .

..

* Sprezzatura: is an Italian word that refers to a kind of effortless grace, the art of making something difficult look easy, or maintaining a nonchalant demeanor while performing complex tasks. The term is used in the context of fashion, where classical outfits are purposefully worn in a way that seem a bit off, as if the pieces of clothing were put on while in a hurry.[1]. The term "sprezzatura" first appeared in Baldassare Castiglione's 1528 The Book of the Courtier, where it is defined by the author as "a certain nonchalance, so as to conceal all art and make whatever one does or says appear to be without effort and almost without any thought about it".[2] It is the ability of the courtier to display "an easy facility in accomplishing difficult actions which hides the conscious effort that went into them".[3] Sprezzatura has also been described "as a form of defensive irony: the ability to disguise what one really desires, feels, thinks, and means or intends behind a mask of apparent reticence and nonchalance".[4]. The word has entered the English language; the Oxford English Dictionary defines it as "studied carelessness",[5] especially as a characteristic quality or style of art or literature, although it is also used in the aesthetic context.

That shouldn't be necessary.

CoS just needs to get The Way to Happiness books into the hands of all the leaders within the Islamic Republic regime and maybe word-clear them if necessary. That will resolve everything.

The Israeli military and intelligence agencies operate at levels only dreamed of by rest of the top 10 militaries & intelligence agencies. Once upon a time while researching/writing an entertainment project for a film studio and their major action star, i needed to go to Israel to better understand the way things really work in the matter of nuclear weapons and how a islamofacist terrror group in the middle east could actually gain possession of an atomic bomb. I had the pleasure of being driven around (while doing location scouting with the film's director) by a high ranking IDF Colonel. This is at least 30 years ago but at that time Israel was also being hammered with terrorism, so the Colonel was partly there to provide security.

As the sole writer and original story originator, I kept asking a lot of questions about how I could gain such knowledge about what would really happen if terrorist had possession of a nuclear weapon. The story unfolded with the world's leading elite special forces teams sending their very best to form a sort of warrior "dream team" comprised of Delta Force (USA), Spetznaz (Russia), SAS (Britain), KSK (Germany) et al. They were then tasked to somehow work together to go FIND & NEUTRALIZE the nuclear bomb before an entire city could be obliterated.

Anyways, although i was paid handsomely by the studio, the project later fell into rewrites and then later still into the abyss of Hollywood movie hell where nothing gets produced, lol.

Back to the reason i even thought to write this post. Nobody was able to answer my questions but the Israel colonel and his deep connections to Israeli military and intelligence quite surprisingly told me one day that he had found someone that probably could answer my questions. The film's director and I were invited to dinner at a legendary operatives home. I'll leave out all the details, but just say that this Israeli commando and "operator" headed one particular black ops mission that went to South America and captures the most famous architect of the holocaust, a German Nazi who escaped and hid out forever in South America. There are more than one feature length movies about this mindblowing mission in 1960 and how Rafi Eitan and his elite team of Mossad and Shin Bet superheroes pulled off this virtually impossible task of capturing and returning the infamous Nazi to Israel for a trial some 15 years after World War II ended.

In any case (in case anyone is still reading) I haven't thought of this surreal dinner at Rafi's home in a long time. Many light and lovely things were discussed. He was an other-worldly human that showed near-infinite kindness, intelligence and grace with his twinkling eyes and mischievously charming grins. But he knew things that very few people in the world know. He had experiences of unbelievable action, peril and chaos and somehow walked on water and survived it all. So, over desert the energy was perfect and I casually asked him the question he was expecting. How would terrorists gain access to a nuclear weapon that they could transport to a major metropolitan city. He smiled, he knew things. He told me---but not directly. This was his power...he could speak in indirect ways and inferences and subtleties and NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION WHILE ANSWERING THE QUESTION.

Naturally, he did not want to go on record as having revealed Mossad super-secrets because even at that time the threat of a nuclear weapon being used by Islamic terrorists was a real threat.

But he told me how it could happen. He would start sentences by such ambiguities as: "Perhaps....." and "Maybe....." But he knew exactly how it could happen. [for those who love such matters, i'll just briefly say that "perhaps" a russian atomic weapon would be sold by a rogue Russian general to a clandestine group in France, who would then make the sale to the terrorist group in the Middle East.

He said all these things so very pleasantly smiling. If I was to write that dinner as a movie scene I would invoke creative license and have him speak in his distinctive Israeli accent and conclude in a traditionally Jewish sing-songy charming way: "What's not to like? Everyone makes money. Everyone dies." LOL

Incidentaily the Colonel and other high ranking gov't Mossad arranged a meeting for me when I would be flying thru NYC on my way back to the USA to go home. I didn't ask for or even imagine such a meeting was possible. But then they surprised the hell out of me. The meeting was set in NYC with Netanyahu to discuss the movie project that I was writing to be filmed in Israel. However, there were terrorist bombings and attacks and at the last minute he had to attend other urgent meetings and was forced to alter his plans to be in NYC at that time i was coming back from overseas. Damn!

[...sorry if there are a ton of typos and other grammatical high crimes, i need some sleep, sayanora! :)]

I want to say this here because it made me think of this and, although not directly, it's related to the train of thought invoked.

Ali...such a master.

This entails an interview segment from George Foreman.

George Foreman was, perhaps, the most powerful puncher of our lifetime. Knockout punches are delivered to the head. Foreman's power was so great that he delivered knockouts to the body cavity. The strikes were so catastrophic, like a shockwave delivering organ failure, that after a devastating punch landed within seconds the guy was comatose on the mat - struggling to breath.

When he enters the ring vs Ali he's 25 years old and at the height of his prime - never defeated. Ali is 32, considered past his prime.

Foreman tells us that, to him, Ali is just another two minute bout knockout victim.

He says he tagged Ali, a punch to the head, with everything he had and knew Ali was knocked out.

They clutch in the center of the ring and Foreman expects Ali to be crippled and hurt - where Ali whispers in his ear "That's all you got, George? They said you could punch, George. Is that all you got?"

Foreman was shocked to his core. In his entire life he had never confronted anything that put a doubt in his dominance.

He said that that Ali banter was ceaseless throughout the whole fight - that when Ali is on the ropes, round after round getting pummeled by Foreman, he was taunting Foreman the entire time. To hear Foreman tell it, it's like the classic monster movie that no matter what you do to the monster it has no affect and it just keeps coming.

What a compelling story about a human experiencing a revelation.

This story reminds me of another that I cannot relocate, but it was Marilyn Monroe talking about Joe Dimaggio. In that story, she details a similar Foreman-revelation where, for the first time in her life, she's surrounded by fawning males and realizes that she's not the center of attention. The males weren't wooing her - they were wooing Dimaggio.

It blew her away. She had never, in all her life, ever experienced that. Even when other women, other starlets were there - she was the center of attention. No competition.

I don't know if she ever realized it but, indirectly, she was still the center of attention because all the Dimaggio worship was the result of her as the prize of Dimaggio's prowress.

I was a big boxing fan back at that time, and of Ali in particular. He was amazing, but some of those fights, especially the three against Joe Frazier, had a big impact on his health, and not in a good way. Our brains weren't designed to withstand that type of punishment.

I asked ChatGPT about that story you mentioned. It told me this:

Yes, the story you're referring to—where Marilyn Monroe realizes that men were more interested in Joe DiMaggio than in her—is documented in several sources. One notable account comes from Charles Casillo's biography, Marilyn Monroe: The Private Life of a Public Icon. In it, Casillo describes an early date between Monroe and DiMaggio at a restaurant where men approached their table, eager to meet the baseball legend. Monroe was taken aback, as she was accustomed to being the center of male attention. This experience was a revelation for her, highlighting DiMaggio's immense popularity and the unique dynamic of their relationship

This anecdote underscores the complexities of Monroe and DiMaggio's relationship, marked by mutual admiration but also challenges stemming from their respective fame. Their union was brief, lasting only nine months, but their connection endured beyond their divorce. DiMaggio remained devoted to Monroe, famously sending roses to her grave for 20 years after her death

I physically wept the day Ali died.

Astounded myself. I had no idea the amount of emotion that could ever stir in me.

Him and Sugar Ray Leonard - WOW! My two favorites of that era and I was fortunate enough to see it.

Yikes, you and Type_4PTS were/are huge boxing fans....omg, i loved watching boxing matches ever since my dad let me watch the weekly fights on tv with him every friday night. My saddest moment was that i was a huge Tommy Hearns fan. One of my business associates knew about that and set up a chance for me to show up a TV production studio where they were filming some show and Tommy was making a guest appearance. So i went and talked to him a short bit and got his autograph days before his monster fight with Sugar Ray Leonard. Your boy knocked my guy out so badly it was depressing, LOL.

CONFESSION: When the UFC came into existence stopped watching almost every boxing match and started to love it even more than boxing. I went to a bunch of UFC championship fights and sat ringside, met some of the fighters and had a total blast with one of my business execs. There are precious few boxing matches that still interest me but maybe if Naoya Inoue fights, I'd love to watch that!

ps: don't you feel some degree of remorse for your guy Sugar Ray humiliating my guy like that? LOL. Please use Ron's lower conditions to work your way out of that unethical situation.

Ray was the best, hands down. He traveled across weight classes, came out of retirement and beat them all - Hagler - remember that guy? Of course you do, being a Hearns fan.

How about "No mas, no mas" - the footwork...amazing athlete!

It's the same for me. I very rarely watch boxing anymore, but do occasionally watch some UFC fights. Speaking of which, check this out from a week ago:

Back in 2010, I briefly worked just a few miles from the Petronelli Brothers Gym in Brockton, Massachusetts, the gym where Hagler trained. The Petronelli brothers managed and trained him.

One day, when I was on a break from work, I went into a nearby Dunkin Donuts, sat down, and had a coffee. At a nearby table, there were two guys playing chess, after which I got into a long conversation with one of them. He had previously trained at that same gym, was 54-6 as an amateur, but sparred with professionals, and was working as a trainer, preparing kids to get to the Olympics. This was the guy:

I watched this video earlier today, taken in Iran. It's a LOT different there than what I was expecting, especially with how many women ignore the rules about wearing a hijab.

Awesome.

That's been the story of the Middle East since WW2 where the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. fought each other without fighting each other.

Israel had all Pentagon weapons and training up against MIGs and Soviet trained personnel.

Similar outcome as what's going on now.
Innocence while fighting to the death, with negotiations on the table.. It'll bite us in the butt.
