Biden is vetting Congressmember Karen Bass as a candidate for Vice President. Bass has endorsed the Church of Scientology

So here we are, several years now (seemingly) since we saw the lovely Karen Bass standing at the lectern on Sunset Blvd., across from KP. Those great words about the Liar from Tilden, and the possibilities of what could have been.

What happened? Was it not real? Was she the #1 pick, and they had to settle? Was it Fidel? Was it that there wasn't the time?

I haven't seen or heard a postmortem of The Honorable Karen Bass. This one got dropped, not enough time and energy with everything else that consumes MSM.

So what happened???
Biden would probably say that Karen's shilling for Scientology wasn't why he chose Kamala or didn't choose Karen, but Biden's word, like Trump's, isn't worth shit.

ps This reminds me of what a wonderful article Richad Behar did on Karen Bass and Scientolgy:

Here is my real question:
Has Scientology just become much more radioactive??
Has it become the kiss of death?
I think there is little doubt that any politician who has plans to run for higher office will think twice about speaking at a Scientology event after seeing what happened to Bass and the reaction to the ten-year-old story of her speaking at the LA Org opening. While I personally think her praising Castro did more to harm her VP chances because of Florida being a swing state, the negative online reaction to her Scientology connection was stronger.

I agree.

Without really knowing where she was on the list, most preferred candidate, or just another person to prove that they were trying to add a "woman of color" to the VP slot, it's hard to say.

I look in the comments on several democratic blogs and there did not seem to be indigestion in regards to her life story other than her past connection to scientology. That seemed to be the deal breaker. Or they just didn't want to say that Fidel or Farrakhan would be a deal breaker.

Maybe politicians should wise up to the fact that when they kowtow to scientology, the best that the could hope for is about ZERO votes from scientologists, since there are about ZERO scientiologists nowadays. The whole facade of "interfaith" is baloney!

That is not true in Los Angeles. See the Los Angeles Times story:

Trump won this little chunk of Los Angeles, where half of voters are linked to Scientology

It surprised no one last fall when Los Angeles and California at large overwhelmingly backed Hillary Clinton in her failed bid for the presidency. Just seven of the city’s 1,700 precincts went for Donald Trump.

But while nearly all of the surrounding region voted for the Democratic former secretary of state, one little chunk of Hollywood best known for the Church of Scientology’s “Big Blue” complex went red, picking the Republican billionaire instead.

The precinct, wedged between Hollywood Boulevard and Fountain Avenue, tipped to Trump by just three votes, 347 to 344. It marked the first time since at least 2000 that the area went Republican. In 2012, President Barack Obama defeated Gov. Mitt Romney by 81 votes, 316 to 235
