Amateur Journalist Requesting Interviews

just seemed good to ask considering the last few responses have seemed very pointed - im a lot of things that you'd consider "woke"

i absolutely do not think of blm that way but sure 🐇❗

Well...practicing Scientologists don't think of Scientology that way as an exploitative slave empire. They think of Miscavige as an in-ethics Big Being making it go right and they think of L. Ron Hubbard as Mankind's Greatest Friend. Meanwhile, what are the leaders of Scientology doing? How are they handling the funds?

What is more fitting for "Mankind's Greatest Friend" is to drop the "r" out of "friend" and get "Mankind's Greatest Fiend". Much more accurate.

Yeah, I was never comfortable with the "religion " aspect.
I always regarded it as a philosophy and the glassy eyed devotee was always kind of disconcerting to me.

Scientology is all things to all people. . .

It's a "modern science", it's an "applied philosophy", it's a "religion", it's a "bridge to total freedom"...

It's also a "cosmic insurance policy" (pay us or die and suffer unspeakable slavery & nightmares for the rest of eternity!")

Scientology is so much more!

hadn't thought of this before but there are probably different definitions of that word "woke"

at the very least, there would seem to be a spectrum from comatose to fully woke.

in my view, the only wokesters who get trash talked are the ones that are the biggest
trash talkers themselves, lol. once somebody gets into purple-faced screaming about
nazis and white supremecists and Putin, well maybe people don't like insane shit
being screamed at volume 11 from 1/2 inch away from their face. If someone wants
to be woke, who cares. if someone's spit is flying off their frothing mouth as they
scold and shame others, well I'm not inviting them to the next dinner party. LOL

It's like socialism.

Here's a recent exercise that I've done.

Write down a list of every single social malady that plagues humanity - you know...homelessness...drug addiction...prostitution, etc.

In Scientology, the answer is "the Tech". It's the magical panacea brought about by magical thinking that resolves every known and imaginable condition.

Now take the list that you have and type into a lazy easy peasy Google search "the answer to __________ is socialism" and see the hits roll.

Put into the blank every item on the list - homelessness...climate change...pollution...drug addiction...disease...

It doesn't matter - anything serves - and just look at the hits of pages and pages and pages of extolling the benefits of the magic panacea of socialism.

If Scientology were to be found to even be effective on 1/100th of the various claims - think of arthritis or something - there would be vast lines around the block of people flocking to get service. It would look like the first couple of months that Star Wars premiered.

If socialism were to actually be effective in a similar way every single successful society and government would be socialists - instead of being at the bottom of the toilet they would be shining examples of human rights, etc.

This is another clue to cults. It's the reason behind cognitive dissonance and that's that cults are opposite of evidence - they are evidence denial. Instead of anything even remotely approaching a scientific method or science they are all faith-based conspiracy theories that are supported by either denying the evidence or the specialized filtering of evidence to "support" the theory and prove it true - directly opposite to rational thinking/critical thinking.

is this a bad time to mention im queer
Yes!

If you're a journalist who uses bad or no punctuation all the time. Makes me
think you're not serious at all. I've edited articles for many writers throughout
my previous professional career, so I know writers. I've called out more than
a few for being sloppy.

since ill be starting another collection up over december, does anyone have book recommendations for research?
If you're serious and have "a passionate focus on victims of Scientology,"
as you put it in your OP, begin here:

PS: I helped Lawrence Wright with research on Going Clear.

good i've already gotten janet reitman's book! its very insightful. i'll keep these in mind when i go back for more. i've also gotten ruthless by ron miscavige, and a billion years by mike rinder.

also the caps lock on my computer just went out. its kind of old and i've been saving up for a new one. this is my hobby, not my job. i'm already trying to navigate a retail job with autism.

also i am once again stating that im not gonna share my private information with strangers on the internet. someone asked me for my phone number and address to "prove" my identity. i'm sorry, but if thats the only way to get people to talk to me, then i'm not staying here. i'm not asking anyone for names or ages or anything. please help me make this research a two way street by not demanding my private information.

No one should be asking for your phone number, name or any personal information. Report it to the Admin.

Already reported 🫡 kind of scary to have thrown at me when I'm already a bit paranoid after starting this in senior year of highschool. I'm glad this is just a hobby right now.

I've got a funny feeling i know who it is.

Don't be bothered about it. People can be twats at times and this forum is no exception.
Just tell them no.
If they persist you can put them on ignore. But you have already reported it, so that's good too.
Most of us here are quite happy to discuss things over the threads without anyone having to expose who they are.
So ask away!
Got more to say to you later, continuation of previous topics. No time just now.

Well, the two ladies who started BLM up are trained Marxist activists. So the political philosophy is going to be an influence in there. This doesn't mean there are no social issues around, merely that this particular group may not have everybody's best interests at heart. They seem to be more interested in building an elite real estate portfolio with the donations than helping out black people and moving out of those neighbourhoods. There are currently a number of other BLM leaders around the country being jailed and on trial for misappropriation of donations, using them for their own benefits.

But anyway, remember in a previous reply that I suggested that you listen to what any cult has to say, but listen closer to a lot of the other things they say that really don't quite seem to fit and more especially, watch what they do. Pay attention to the language they are using-is it spiteful, derogatory?
If they are out to take what they can and have no regard for any others that they hurt emotionally or physically, then they are a malignant cult. Same if you cannot question what they say or you are directed into a certain form of thinking or else..... Pretty much that simple.

Feminism has many branches and its main leaders are in academia. Much of academia is Marxist oriented.

Don't take my word for it. look for yourself in a detached way and really observe what is going on and decide for yourself. I see feminism as less of an equality cause and more of a political domination cult that seeks to (and is happening now) disempower and oppress men. Just look at what laws have been passed under pressure from them and the unintended results. Believe me when I say those results were never unintended. It is a hate cult. Maybe not so much for the lower level members, but it definitely is the higher you go in it.

It's the same in Scientology. Two different "churches". One for the public, another for the staff and Sea Org members. Both tend to treat their members very differently.

Catholic Church. The everyday devotee is fine, but the cult part kicks in with the Nuns and Brothers, etc upwards. They think quite a bit differently to their normal followers. The abuses they performed on the vulnerable in their care is part of the doctrine. You cannot know God unless you are suffering. So to them, by making you suffer, they are helping you to find God. Go figure.

Sorry, this may all be a little heavy for you. All I am saying is that if you want to find out what a movement is all about: Stop, look, listen, read. Do so only from the position of a detached observer and not from the viewpoint of an emotionally invested person. This will usually blind you from what you need to see or hear, or allow you to make excuses for something that should not be excused.

The Nazis and the Soviet Communists started out as everyday activists until they got into power and turned completely evil. The signs were always there, but people nodded agreement, ignored and/or made excuses for their behaviour until it was too late to stop them. It is all happening again now. The same signs are there. Different cults seeking the same power goals.

Scientology is only one wicked cult. It isn't the one anymore to be very afraid of like it once was. Those who have figured them out and have spoken out have seriously damaged its ability to inflict too much damage anymore.

The meaning of the term "woke" has changed over time. Here's an article that gets a little bit into it.

Origin of the word WOKE, and why it’s now controversial

I disagree with the article implying only "critics on the right" use "woke" as a pejorative term. I've heard liberals use it in that way as well. I believe Bill Maher was one of them.

The true purpose of the organization doesn't seem to have anything to do with supporting the lives of Black people. Here in Tampa, Florida I saw some Black-owned businesses got damaged and/or robbed during riots organized by BLM in recent years.

I know many Black people who are not fans of BLM. But there's an entire thread on this forum if you wish to add your thoughts.

If you read those books recommended by @ILove2Lurk you'll have a much greater understanding of the true nature of Scientology and the Church of Scientology then Scientologists do.

Also, I highly recommend watching this TV show and HBO documentary if you haven't already.

When BLM was formed the premise was that police were executing black trans because they were black. Every meeting or gathering began with an audience recital of a pledge of allegiance to the LGBQT agenda.

Regarding the exorbitant rates of crime and murder in black communities an excellent article was written. In it were the top 5 things that massively reduced this dysfunctional trauma in black communities.

Number 1 of the 5 was more police.

Number 2 of the 5 was a stable mother/father parent model in the home.

Prior to Black Lies (sic) Matter excising their platform website the 2 leading efforts they championed were defunding and reducing the police and "democratising" the rearing of children by dismantling the nucleus family. Democratising in today's lingo is "nationalizing" where fascism nationalizes private sector enterprise.

The BLM website was explicit in stating that males weren't necessary for the family unit.

Both of these efforts are erroneous outcomes based on the conspiracy theory of "the patriarchy" and the goal of dismantling that. Cult lunatics cannot evaluate and filter everything to support their ideological possession/conspiracy theories.

In short, everything that Black Lives Matter promotes and stands for is catastrophically detrimental to black communities, adds to the dysfunction and does the exact opposite to aid and assist black communities. The exact opposite is my favorite word that I won't mention but is a hallmark of cults and ideological possession.

Now that BLM has been exposed as a fraudulent extortion racket only cements the onion layered conspiracy further.

Whenever an organization has to lie and promote false statistics that "prove" an issue....heads up!

Black Lives Matter is really a feminist/Marxist grievance study bred front group designed to attack in an effort to dismantle the Patriarchy and install socialism. It's the same ploy as the Green New Deal and the climate change conspiracy. The goal is Marxist socialism...the ornaments of the social justice activism are either agitprop itself or the catalyst for agitprop.

Just go with the "logic" for a moment...

Let's say that cops are executing innocent black transexuals because they're black and trans...let's say that carbon pollution is causing a runaway greenhouse effect...

What are the chances that socialism or that state of Total Government under a single political Party monopoly is the remedy for either?

But in this case it gets better because it's the remedy for BOTH conditions simultaneously - two conditions that factually don't exist.
