My heart goes out to anyone who has suffered a loss of loved ones due to the COVID19 pandemic. personally I am ready for the next adventure that awaits me when I drop this body. Please...to whomever or whatever may have any influence on what I am to be or what happens to me next...please let it be better than the horribleness of this 3rd rate planet. And if there are extraterrestrials out there more highly advanced than we...well then is it any mystery as to why they don't bother visiting us? That being said...don't get me wrong, there ARE many things of beauty and decent people...like YOU (I hope LOL) but for the most part I have "been there and done that" factoring in what's there to do and where to go on earth in one's lifetime. I have traveled the globe. I am a musician, pilot, published author, computer artist, professional film-maker and I love to play Texas Hold-em. I'm pretty skilled at it and have won quite a few tournaments but lost many times well. You get dealt what you get dealt and it's what you do with what you get vdealt and that's all there is to it. I have two grown up kids ( a 30 year old daughter who is a relapsed heroin addict and a 23 year old son who is a pot head with severe anger issues. Lucky me! I also have two sweet pitbulls and a bunch of cats and even some fishies. my guppies just had babies and they are all of 1/4" long and swim around like pros already. I love and get more love and joy out of my pets than I do the humans in my family. Rather sad you might say. Oh well! Soooooooo my dear people, my warmest regards to all. Hello and welcome! My scn experience is in a similar time frame to yours. I split around 1980 soon after attesting to "Dianetic Clear" and at the time I had no problem with "The Tech", only the price increases which I thought were greedy and unjustified. Whatever scn was offering on the upper levels they could keep it for the price they were charging. I consider my scn experience an interesting and worthwhile life experience but I didn't suffer any abuse as so many others have.

I never read a word about what was going on in scn until I started reading the scn blogs after watching Going Clear so it was like stepping out of a time machine and seeing what scn is like now compared to what it was back then. What a difference! I wouldn't have lasted too long if I started in 2015 instead of 1975.

Your post made me think about how differently people view the world, through the lens or filter of their upbringing, education, experience and adopting various philosophical, spiritual or religious beliefs along the way. I don't know how long you've been following the trajectory the C of S and you use a lot of scn terminolgy so you may be looking at the world through the lens of scn which is one way at looking at life. I couldn't tell you what lens I'm using - haha

Geez. The only ones I know who had a good time there did it by walking all over other people and didn't give a rat's ass about kids or family. Maybe your situation is different, but those that had a good time that I knew were either higher up execs or reges for the most part, while others lived on their meager $12-$50/week and had to eat beans and rice.

Welcome and thanks for coming here. Surrounding yourself with animals is so good. I love animals and have my home and yard with all types of awesome creatures; big and small.
Your viewpoint of the world is negative and I wonder if that is because Scientology peddle chaos and fear to members over time.
It was my experience that Scientology feeds members lot of "doom and gloom" to get money out of people. I don't know if that happened to you but many Scientologists have a tainted view of the scary wog world and unless they do a little deprogramming, they can recreate it in their universe by the law of attraction.
Are you doing any practices you like.
What made you leave Scientology and how long have you been out?
I have been focusing what is good in the world and there is plenty. It is a beautiful life we can live if we choose it. We all have trials and tribulations and sometimes our family members can be a source of disappointment and worry.

I really like what you had to say. I had good experiences in Scientology but that does not preclude facts and truths about the founder, the tech, the Organization and David Miscavige. It is rotten to the core.
