About Me

Well, what happened to @I-amPneuma8 ???

There were several "Welcome" sort of messages...

...and then a few "wait a fucking minute, explain yourself" sort of replies...

...but then the "crickets".

And here I was wanting some great stories about the flaming con man L Ron Hubbard from the airplane pilot, rock star, investment banker, planet discoverer, alchemist, etc.

Oops, I should be polite to one that worked with the red-headed genius con-man. I might loin sumptin.

I heard flubstar was a pretty good Nebraska Con-em card player hisself.

It was some creative writing but it wasn't humorous. Any more than this Advance! magazine cover was humorous a few years later.

Or this, from a pack of newly released HCOBs, a few years after that.

It was quite serious.

I wanna hear about his/her cats. That one in the avatar has interesting eyes.

Yes, I'm a guy who likes cats better than dogs. Always have. I do like dogs but only certain breeds. Lab's, Collies, Goldens, Schipperke's, and a few others. I hate big dumb dogs and small yippy-yappy dogs.

Also thinking about it now, I don't like dogs that are overly needy. The breeds I mentioned are pretty independent. - Cats? "Hey. I'll be back in a couple days, maybe." Not needy. :)

I like cats. I have a few, and the number varies from time to time. When I was growing up, we usually had a cat here and there. We have rescued a few, and have one leftover. We had some coyotes around here a few years back, unfortunately, and that thinned out the population of our barn cats.

Your cat is gorgeous!! Or handsome, as the case may be!

I have had dogs as well. We lost our last Labrador a few years back and haven't reloaded. My son has a Chesapeake Retriever that we borrow on occasion. It's awfully quiet without a barking guard dog!!

Ai! Pedrito!
lol

Yeah, he was something. 2006 - 07 Valparaiso, Chile. He's probably long gone by now. So skinny. Stealing food from the outdoor dog bowl when he could sneak it. I took him in and he put on some weight. He was grateful but was always semi-feral. He roamed the huge property where I lived. I was renting an apartment in a very large house that was (ca. 1910 - 1915) the former Ambassador of Denmark's house. Casa Dinamarca. It was a shadow of it's former glory but a way cool place to live. I never really knew how many people lived there, :) the owner Mauricio, rented out a lot of rooms. It was three story place and had separate rooms / entrances / kitchens downstairs in the back where I lived. My best guess was besides the owner his wife and their two kids, about 10 to 12 other people living there, lol.

There was a long, long stairway I called 'the stairway to heaven' to get to the back of the house from a big gate on Subida Equador. At first Pedrito would sense I was coming home and wait for me at the top of the stairs. As he gradually got better fed and bolder he would come down a landing, there were several landings. One day he was waiting for me at the bottom of the stairs behind the gate. And I saw a big tabby looking at us with a sour look from a window. Pedrito had fought him and was now KING OF THE STAIRWAY. Skinny little fighter he was. Petey followed me up the stairs sprinting ahead at the top, playing with me, lol. We got inside and I felt a big knot on his head. I rubbed it gently and he gave me a look, "I'm the boss in this neighborhood."

I loved that little guy.

Those wild ones can be the most awesome cats! Such personalities!!

We have one now that we rescued at our office. There were a couple of feral kittens that lost their mother. We trapped them and had them spayed. We brought them home and they hung out in the barn, and patrolled the property by night. We lost one little one in the great coyote episode of 2019, but her sister is still with us. She now comes in when we feed breakfast, and she lets us pet her, rub under her chin and almost pick her up. That's only in the morning, because the rest of the day, she only lets us get about twenty feet from her.

Here is another of Lizzie, out Tuxedo cat:20200307_210930.jpg

It should be against my nature to love cats since I'm into birds the last 15 years, but cats can be pretty awesome, and owners that neuter the wild ones and look after them are pretty terrific in my book. Way to go, Dotey OT.

Thanks.

We had maybe six or seven at one time. I live out in the sticks kinda, and we do have deer, foxes, coyotes, etc. We lost four in a several day period, but didn't really know it because they were mostly feral. But one day I had a thought that I better walk around the property, and found some cat parts. I was really bummed out for a bit, but glad that no one else was lost. Only our street smart cats made it through that. Probably some of our neighbors that have hunting dogs, etc. got sight of them and took them down. Or they just passed along.

Pnuema, sorry but I'm gonna booger up your thread even more.

It really was. 12 foot ceilings.
My buddy John found it for me, first place I looked at. With that view I couldn't say no.

Former SCN & Sea Org Member- I worked with LRH personally on a daily basis- I am NOT here to promote, nor defend, nor criticize SCN. Everybody has their unique personal and commonly shared experiences, whether good or bad or some of each. Personally, my 12 years of experience in SCN and the SO were more enjoyable and rewarding than what was not. I know that there will be those who will NOT like hearing that. It's okay, I understand why. What is true for you is true for you and THAT is all that matters. However, I sincerely both empathise and sympathize for those who have had and/or continue to have horrific experiences with and/or in SCN and the SO. We are each ultimately responsible for where we are and the condition we are in.

My purpose for coming here is just to see and hear what's going on these days in the SCN and SO afterlife. I am 70 years old and I am quite disappointed with mankind's inhumanity to mankind, both in SCN and out. My heart goes out to anyone who has suffered a loss of loved ones due to the COVID19 pandemic. personally I am ready for the next adventure that awaits me when I drop this body. Please...to whomever or whatever may have any influence on what I am to be or what happens to me next...please let it be better than the horribleness of this 3rd rate planet. And if there are extraterrestrials out there more highly advanced than we...well then is it any mystery as to why they don't bother visiting us? That being said...don't get me wrong, there ARE many things of beauty and decent people...like YOU (I hope LOL) but for the most part I have "been there and done that" factoring in what's there to do and where to go on earth in one's lifetime. I have traveled the globe. I am a musician, pilot, published author, computer artist, professional film-maker and I love to play Texas Hold-em. I'm pretty skilled at it and have won quite a few tournaments but lost many times well. You get dealt what you get dealt and it's what you do with what you get vdealt and that's all there is to it. I have two grown up kids ( a 30 year old daughter who is a relapsed heroin addict and a 23 year old son who is a pot head with severe anger issues. Lucky me! I also have two sweet pitbulls and a bunch of cats and even some fishies. my guppies just had babies and they are all of 1/4" long and swim around like pros already. I love and get more love and joy out of my pets than I do the humans in my family. Rather sad you might say. Oh well! Soooooooo my dear people, my warmest regards to all. All comments pro or con are welcome, but please keep it civil. if you think you know who I am...you don't and even if you guess I am NOT gonna tell you. Toodles!

OSA ... fake poster ... i know who you are and what you are trying to do

If you're going to disparage something using English vernacular at least get it right. The word you're looking for is 'bollocks'.

A bullock is an Ox. A bollock is something else entirely. :D
I meant it from this definition:

"
Bollocks’ is generally a noun that means:
  1. Testicles, from the Old English beallucas (also known as “balls”, “cobblers”, “nuts”, “nads”, “family jewels”)
  2. Nonsense, i.e. either a clearly false/misleading statement or an unintentionally absurd statement (synonymous with “twaddle”, “hogwash”, “humbug”, “claptrap”, “bullshit”, “drivel”, “poppycock”, “gobbledygook”, etc.)
  3. Rubbish, i.e. something that is obviously worthless or substandard (synonymous with “crap”, “shite”, “garbage”)
  4. Error, cock-up, mix-up
Bollocks can a...
