WHY RON'S 100% WORKABLE TECH DID NOT WORK ON RON

Pro tip: I hate to spoil the party fellas, but I like to break down deep philosophical
questions to a single key question, which then provides an easily digestible answer,
of sorts. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And that key question is: What did all this science and "exacting methodology" do
for its founder, L Ron Hubbard. How did he end up? Where is he now? How's he doing?
How was his mental health? This is important. (I guess that's five questions.) :coolwink:

That's the only question anyone should ever ask or look into when weighing whether
to do some technique or not. How did its founder or inventor turn out?

I won't bore readers on the thread with one of my many previous rants, but will say,
"the truth is out there."
.

That would be an "ideal" post to start a whole new thread, so let's get this party started:

WHY RON'S 100% WORKABLE TECH
DID NOT WORK ON RON

Because on the practical drills for auditor training courses,
everyone was afraid to give Ron a flunk. Thus he never
got a real pass and therefore was non-standard.

Because Ron went "off source" from, um, Ron.

Because Ron discovered the Bridge tech in the 1950s, but he didn't
discover the study tech until the 1960s. Therefore, unfortunately,
even though Ron wrote the tech, he was unable to clear his MUs on it.

The tech didn't work on Ron because he was surrounded by SP's and he hadn't refined the PTS/SP tech yet!

Is Everyone Suppressive?

Did you Know?

Does it strike you as odd that 38 out of 50 staff members from the last organization that L. Ron Hubbard personally ran himself in St Hill, England (known as "Old Saint Hill") have been declared "suppressive persons" by David Miscavige and kicked out of Scientology forever? LRH said 2 1/2 percent of the population is suppressive. But according to David Miscavige, demonstrated by his own actual statistics, 76% of the population is suppressive. I used to wonder why so many senior Scientologists got declared. Then it happened to many of my friends. And finally to me. I don't wonder any more. Consider too, that many of these individuals had a husband or wife, sons or daughters whom they had brought into Scientology. So once they were declared, they never saw those friends or family again. Here is the list (thanks to Pierre Ethier who logged many hours to research and verify these amazing facts and who graciously made this information available... and more recently to Luis Garcia who verified the exact number as 38 out of 50). Scientologists like to say, "The tech works!" "THE Tech works!" they shout with great confidence.

In his book Science and Sanity published in 1935, Korzybski wrote of tagging dates and indexing. He was addressing, in essence, the importance of being specific.

Hubbard "borrowed" much from Korzybski and copied many of Korzybski's ideas.

To make a long story short, many years later Hubbard made a "discovery," and it was that upsets are based on generalities. This was pure Korzybski.

Caveat: It didn't take long for Hubbard to eclipse his "upsets" announcement with another announcement that criticism derives from undisclosed evil deeds. (There's a back story attached to this where Hubbard confides in Bill Franks and David Mayo that he had to attribute "ARC breaks" to "overts" to maintain control.) In any event, before wandering too deeply into the weeds, the point is that there is no "the tech," there are only myriad pieces of "tech."

If we are to be honest, we don't know that every piece of the hodgepodge called "the tech" failed to "work" on "Ron." Perhaps some pieces did, who knows? The difficulty with that would be that he would, on some level, regard any "working" as an "invalidation."

"The only aberration is self invalidation," wrote Hubbard, and he seems to have believed this as regards himself, but not other people.

Other people were full of aberrations, to be put under a microscope, revealing even more aberrations.

But not Hubbard. He was Source with a capital "S."

This photo - measuring roughly three and a half feet by four feet - was displayed in every Scientology Academy,
and at Scientology events, during Scientology's period of greatest expansion during the 1960s and 1970s, and into the 1980s.

According to Hubbard, he "rose above the bank." He also stated he does not have "R6." (An additional type of bank. "Bank" = "reactive mind.") So having aberrations, as Scientologists have aberrations, was a giant "invalidation" for Hubbard.

Thus Hubbard auditing himself did not go well, and being assigned to be an auditor for Hubbard was a virtual death sentence.

Hubbard had violated his own rule, made years before the appearance of Scientology, that his psychology is for use on others only.

Now back to the point: There is no "THE tech," there are only many pieces of so called "tech."

And many of these pieces are derived from other than Hubbard and, perhaps, some might even be derived from Hubbard. Who knows? Even a megalomaniac can have a flash of brilliance. It doesn't make my world explode to think that might have occurred.

That's why some people sift through Scientology, and keep and use bits and pieces of Scientology.

They see it as lots of little pieces, some useful some not, not as a big malodorous blob, or as Scientologists see it, as a giant, beautiful, and powerful monolith decorated with Hubbard's name or initials.

Scientology dictator, David Miscavige, under a giant stylized LRH monogram

It would it be a "third dynamic secondary engram" if that the giant monogram ever broke loose and fell on Miscavige, crushing him - even styrofoam, if there's enough of it, can have a lot of weight. Or, perhaps, for some in the audience, it might be a secret "pleasure moment" to finally be rid of the tiny terror.

Terrible thoughts! that would no doubt require a "C/S" for "Security Checking" followed by the "False Purpose Rundown," and maybe even indefinite confinement, by Scientology, as a "psycho" being given the "Introspection Rundown."

This is Pierre Ethier's list.

It appears accurate except that people Declared by Hubbard are listed as Declared by "Current Church Leadership." In fact, Ethier has everyone as having been "declared by current church leadership," which is untrue and ridiculous.

Two of those Declared under or by Hubbard would be John McMaster (who was the "world's first real Clear," who popularized Scientology in 1966), who was Declared in 1969; and Reg Sharpe (who initiated the purchase of St. Hill and, reportedly, had lent the money for its purchase, which was never repaid), declared in 1967.

You make some good points.

I would have to agree that the term "THE TECH" in certain circumstances might be viewed as a generality. I suppose that arose as a direct consequence of trying to combat Hubbard's own frequent and sweeping generalities.

For example, in the very first 7 words of Hubbard's very first book he was somehow able to squeeze in two whopping generalities.

DIANETICS: THE MODERN SCIENCE OF MENTAL HEALTH
That was 1950. For the next 36 years Hubbard wrote (literally) encyclopedic volumes of "tech" with every page and paragraph overflowing with generality-packed assumptions and claims. He spewed forth such a torrential downpour of generalities that they quickly overlapped and contradicted one another, like a type-three ven diagram gone mad.

So many generalities that Hubbard completely lost track of what he had said moments earlier and later. For example, Scientology was a "SCIENCE". But wait--it's really a "PHILOSOPHY". But wait--it's actually a "RELIGION". No wait--it's in fact an "APPLIED RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHY". Hold on--he just made another discovery that his tech is not tech, it's "SACRED SCRIPTURE".

Dr. Hubbard (the religious philosophical scientist) claimed another generality. That the "tech" would handle everything. It cures cancer. It eliminates mental illness. It vanquishes physical ailments. It heals the blind and lame (just like the tech miraculously cured its Founder!). The "tech' puts an end to all insanity, criminality and wars. The "tech" returns to every being in the universe their "eternity". The tech delivers inordinate amounts of wealth and happiness and success in all human endeavors. The "tech" bestows upon homo sapiens supernaturally miraculous powers!

But, as you say, let's not fall into the trap of generalizing "the tech" because it is countless individual jigsaw puzzle pieces. However, if anyone takes the time to fit all the pieces together, it will be found to match the colorful graphic on the cover of the jigsaw puzzle's box. So what does that look like specifically, without any generalities?

ANSWER: It looks like a book that claims to be the SCIENCE OF MENTAL HEALTH, written by a severely mentally ill man who pretended to be both a (nuclear) scientist and not "mental".

Who was Ron's C/S? That might have made some difference.

I word cleared him back when he was just a creepy student that used to hang around in the back corner of the theory courseroom. At first I thought he was kind of glib. But he responded well to some learning drills. I don't know if anyone here has had the misfortune of supervising engineers... well, I guess he wasn't really an engineer after all. But he was most certainly WAY TOO significant. He carried a backpack with about four dictionaries.

Yes, it's entirely ridiculous, but it's the best that INDIE SCIENTOLOGISTS have been able to come up with to justify, rationalize and attempt to feebly explain away their own cognitive dissonance.

Blusterously blaming Hubbard's pathological policies, toxic tech, ludicrous lies and suppressive scripture on others (e.g. Miscavige) is the self-incriminating war cry of every self-respecting "Indie".

INDIE
But, Ron couldn't have done all those horrific
crimes against innocent people---because
he canceled the Fair Game policy!

APOSTATE
Yeah, you keep saying that but I just
listed out 25 examples of times when Hubbard
destroyed innocent people's lives simply because
they dared to speak the truth and blow the whistle on him.

INDIE
Not true!! That's a generality!

APOSTATE
Okay, here's a specific. How about the time Hubbard
threw a small child into a nighmarishly dark chain locker
where they kid hysterically cried for days .

INDIE
Well, I think you've got your facts all messed up. If
anyone was evil enough to lock a 4 year old in
a chain locker, it would have been Miscavige.

APOSTATE
Sorry, when Hubbard tortured that child, Miscavige
was only 7 years old and living 4000 miles away
and had never even heard of Scientology.

INDIE
Well, per "the tech", you don't have to be physically
right next to an SP to go PTS to them.

APOSTATE
So, you're saying that Ron went PTS to a 7 year old Miscavige,
even though he had never met or even seen him?

INDIE
Sure, why not. Ron could have been PTS to Miscavige
for trillions of years on the wholetrack.

APOSTATE
And this makes sense to you to explain why
Ron imprisoned and tortured small children
in cold, dark chain lockers?

INDIE
Totally. Because Ron states in "The Tech" that a being only
makes mistakes when they go PTS to an evil SP. So, Ron
simply made a little innocent mistake. Hey, nobody's perfect!
Anyways, after that silly chain locker thing, Ron invented the
PTS tech so he never made any mistakes after that.

Theory one
What Ron himself finally concluded:

“The actual situation is that you had a bird dog right in the middle
of the control room: David Mayo. He was sabotaging execs by wrecking
their cases. None of this was by accident or incompetence. Of all the
crazy, cock-eyed sabotage I've ever seen, man, he was at it. He was not
doing Dn and Scn. He was just calling it that and using the patter. His
obvious intention was to wreck all cases of persons who could help others.”
L Ron Hubbard

Now, that's what was put out as BPI in SO ED 2344 INT, The Story of a Squirrel.

But there were some additional self-revelatory handwritten comments in the margins,
which went unpublished at the time.*

"God-damit to hell, that bastard CSed my case and audited me a ton too.
No wonder I haven't been feeling so well lately. I haven't been able to go
exterior anymore. Man, just how much did he permanently goof up my case?
Well, that's the why there! Mayo!"
It's always someone else's fault with Hubbard. Never Hubbard himself. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Theory two
Much of the tech and subject is based on Ron's 1.) imagination and 2.) his ability
to hold ideas -- fantasies -- in place over a span of decades. As Ron got older,
he got a bad case of writer's block -- his imagination went. Then he couldn't hold
the ideas in place anymore. His memory slowly went. He couldn't remember most
of the tech. Couldn't maintain all the fantasy plot lines in his mind. Lost his memory.
The fantastical stories and tech went "poof" and it all disappeared in his mind.

And to some degree it all disappeared in the real world too. It's a lot of work to sustain
a fantasy and keep manifesting it out in the real world.

This reminds me sorta of a Philip K. Dick story plot line. Guy stops believing or remembering
something and it vanishes out in the real world. Poof! :coolwink:

What would RON post on this thread? Let's ask him. . .

Hey Ron! Would you mind telling us again why
your miraculous tech simply does not work on some people?
Originally posted by L. Ron Hubbard
The only reason the tech doesn't work on some people is that they are SPs. There are no exceptions. They are anti-social criminals, pathological liars and sociopathic abusers and defrauders of their fellow man. And they have no remorse for all the suffering they bring to their friends, families and all the innocent people they victimized for their own personal benefits, wealth, power and fame.
Jeez, I got a strange feeling of deja vu when I read Ron's description. It
reminded me of someone, but I couldn't quite put my finger on who. To
be honest it's kind of driving me nuts that I can't spot my SP. Well, on the
positive side at least we are very fortunate that Ron hatted us on this subject
so that we could all, at least, try to find our SP.

Did anyone else reading Ron's description above spot an SP who matched that description?

Controversial
The obvious answer to why the tech did not work on Ron is right there in KSW I, Ron had already risen above the bank and therefore he was being overrun and keyed back into the very bank he had risen above.

Ron, being helpful as he was, risked his clearness so that others could experience the wonders of Total Freedom and thus brought his own case back into existence in taking one for the team.

This is why Ron later felt the team must take one for him.

Hubbard never got the 200 rock slams that Otto Roos found in his PC folder handled.
Hubbard blew up. Mary Sue Hubbard declared that LRH did not "have such reads."
Instead, Hubbard punched Otto in the jaw and threw him off the ship with $100.

One wonders how Mary Sue Hubbard would have had any way of knowing what Ron's needle was doing while he was in a closed room with another auditor.

One wonders what kind of life MSH would have had if she had not ever met Ron. Would she still have turned out as lying, scheming, fair-gaming criminal that went to Federal Prison? Perhaps not.

But then again, why is it that Scientology's most elite of the elite were all degenerate lying criminals and sadistic thugs? Think about it for a moment---who were the most powerful and high ranking people in the history of Scientology?

Let's take a quick peek. . .

1. Commodore L. Ron Hubbard: Liar, criminal and thug.
2. COB David Miscavige: Liar, criminal and thug.
3. Guardian Mary Sue Hubbard: Liar, criminal and convicted felon.
4. Captain Bill Robertson: Liar, sociopath and thug.
5. Inspector General Marty Rathbun: Liar, criminal and thug.

All I did (above) is name the 5 most powerful ranking Scientologists that I was personally aware of. They just coincidentally all shared the same "anti-social" characteristics. I would imagine that the next five or ten "most powerful" upper management elites would likely establish a trend indicating that Scientology did not MAKE THEM INTO LYING CRIMINALS, it more likely recruited and promoted to the top those with sociopathic capabilities.

There are others on ESMB that know far more about the Sea Org hierarchy than myself, I wonder who would be the "most powerful Scn leaders" numbers 6-10?

I'm inclined to bet the house they're all OTs (Operating Thugs), just like their boss Hubbard.
