A Court of Ethics was held on Justin Craig, aka L. Ron Hubbard 2.0 on 28 July 2020, on the charge of "causing severe and disreputable disturbances resulting in disrepute. Point 15 of the General Crimes, in the book Introduction to Scientology ethics.

Justin Craig made statements in a public YouTube video that "Scientology is dead" because his version of Scientology has not been broadly accepted. This enturbulated the field and has brought great disrepute to the independent field and Scientology in general. The flap is now being propagandized in "tabloid" websites.

RECCOMENDATIONS:

Justin Craig is not to be trained or processed on anything other than the Security Checks he should have received as a returnee (Ref. HCO BULLETIN OF 5 DECEMBER 1985R, HANDLING OF PAST-LIFE AUDITING). The ethics condition assigned to Justin Craig is the condition of enemy. He can handle those issues with the independent Freezone organization of his choice.

So you don't have a cut off date for material from Hubbard, and you're OK with material that is not from Hubbard and was not seen and approved by him (but is over his name), even with material from a time when David Miscavige was the Boss.

That would make your view of what is acceptable "tech" different from many in Independent Scientology.
