TOP SUPER-STUPID MOMENTS IN SCIENTOLOGY (PART V)

.

You just exposed one of the cult's favorite gimmicks!

Here's something that would be fun to do:

-- hire a dozen or so actors and hook them up with hidden surveillance cam

-- have them casually walk near an Ideal Org so that body routers pounce on them

-- Half a dozen actors know all the RIGHT answers to the OCA and the other half-dozen know all the WRONG answers. Thus, half the tests score at the bottom and the other test all score across the ideal top of the chart in every category.

-- Then film the "modern science of mental health" experts go over their results.

-- Especially the perfect ones!

What would they say? Well, they have to say (in a nice way) that the person is "out of valence". This is Scientologese for "schizophrenic". Two personalities. In Hubbard's hoax, out of valence means that the person is unwittingly acting like another person they once encountered. They have taken on all of their mannerisms and characteristics.
<snip>
Well, they could always fall back to "cause on all dynamics":

When you find a person operating at optimum—healthy, unworried, successful, everything
running for him, things working—he is riding at about 20.0 or ten points to either side of it,
and he is in good shape.
We could get into a big argument about whether or not an individual is in good shape when he
is healthy and strong and happy and effective and efficient and so forth. Maybe that individual
isn’t in good shape; maybe the ideal would be something else. Maybe the ideal living organism
would be something else. Possibly somebody could say, “Well, the ideal state is to sit on a bed
of spikes and be able to resist the pain of the spikes.” Somebody else can do that if he wants to,
but he sure isn’t going to get anything done!
So what are we trying to cause? We will just postulate that it is the conquest of the material
universe and when an individual begins to produce an effect, the effect he is producing—when
it is a good effect—is an alignment of the inherent disorder in the physical universe.

... that's so much confusion you can make anything outta it.

- cross-posted from another thread -

One of the ways Hubbard used logos, or logic, to persuade, was by creating many scales. These are known as the tone scale, the scale of democracy, etc. I forget now the many scales, but Hubbard used them. I think it's the fundamentals of thought book, even the PDC's.
.

.
Dr. Hubbard discovered all of the scales that unlock the mysteries of the universe---and thereby provided to man the tech that can miraculously solve every single MEST universe problem imaginable!

Every scale and every man, except one. . .

Does anyone ever use these fanciful scales in their day-to-day life?

I fail to see any workable applications of El Con's scales unless the material originally came from another or others.

I actually think the most useful scale is the $cientology-like scale.

If you mention $cientology you're almost certainly going to piss someone off.

Don't mention $cientology or speak of $cientology derogatively and you make people happier.

NOMINATED FOR ONE OF THE MOST OBVIOUS
SUPER-STUPID THINGS THAT ABLE SCIENTOLOGISTS
ARE NOT ABLE TO NOTICE ABOUT SCIENTOLOGY

THERE IS NO "GRADE CHART" OR "BRIDGE" OR "ADVANCED LEVELS"
BECAUSE THERE ARE NO LEVELS IN SCIENTOLOGY

There are no levels because none of the levels produces any of the results that are promoted and sold.

So, if there are no levels, what is there actually?

OFFICIAL LOOKING
COMPLETION CERTIFICATES WITH
MAGICAL WORDS PRINTED ON THEM

There is no difference whatsoever between an OT VIII, an OT III, a CLEAR, a GRADE IV or a brand new person who just set foot into a Scientology center for the first time 2 seconds earlier.

HELPFUL TIP: Think of Scientology as a Monopoly Game. What is the difference between the different people playing the game? Same answer. Pieces of paper with valuable words printed on them.

Paper that's decorated with extremely valuable numbers--
MONEY!

If one of the players excels at the game and "makes it to the highest level"-- they would have a whole lot of the most desirable and best pieces of paper in front of them --and they would therefore be the winner!

That's it. That's all there is to that game.

And that's all you get in Scientology too! Paper! Paper with fancy status-ful words on it, called:

There is an extraordinarily valuable use and application of every one of Hubbard's scales.

The top of every scale is the most perfect state or condition that one can possibly imagine.

The bottom of every scale is the most evil state or condition that one can possibly imagine.

When used properly the value is probably several BILLION dollars!

HOW COMMODORE, COB & CULT USE THE SCALES:
1. Define the top and bottom of every scale. Describe that imaginary GOOD/EVIL condition.
2. Use a Thesaurus to come up with synonyms for both top and bottom.
3. When anyone disagrees with Scientology in any way, issue something in writing that declares the person to be the worst synonym (e.g. Degraded Being, Psychotic, SP, et al)
4. When anyone pays money to Scientology in any way, issue something in writing that declres the person to be the best synonyms (e.g. Humanitarian, Operating Thetan, Sector Salvager, et al)

If you follow the above guidelines you will eliminate all nonpaying whistleblowers and the remaining cult members will be so euphorically infatuated with their new status (cert, lapel pin, medallion, etc.) that will will collectively donate BILLIONS of dollars to the cult.

Scales and thesauruses and credulous culties, that's all a cult needs to succeed!

As Shakespeare said, it's much ado about nothing.

Great!

That so perfectly captures Scientology!

- - A guy walks in the front door of Scientology for the first time.

- - Same guy walks out the front door of Scientology for the last time (50 years later).

The only difference is he walked in with paper called money and he walked out a half-century later with paper called completion certificates. "Much ado about nothing!"

I have often said the cult is a pathological LIAR.

I exited the cult by coming out on Marty Rathbun's blog in 2010
They did not "kick me out".
They begged by return when I phased out of going to AOLA.
Begged, pleaded, showed up at my door. 10 phone calls from AO.

The cult also lied saying I had been gone 30 years !
I have only been gone from the cult for 10 years.

Just an aside: Have you noticed that the unemployment levels have risen - perhaps this is due to governments asking people not to pass around their C********** V*****.

Brilliant interpretation.

What would have been intriguing before El Con committed hari-kari, Slappy had him knocked off or Mother Nature did him in would have been an El Con tell all - what really made him tick.

Most people when they get up in the morning think about answering bodily needs including grabbing a bite to eat and something to drink and pleasantly greeting another or others in their shared abode - making another or others feel important, liked and loved. Definitely not f***ing over others.

What the heck was going through El Con's mind when he was continually and continuously coming up with his crap to wilfully cause people unhappiness?

How could one person have that much toxicity, that much evil, that much hatred for his fellow Man?

Perhaps it feels like thirty years for them because they miss you so much. :)

Water is wet, too!

I always loved the faux-profoundness of Ron's maxim's. I used to wonder, do other staff members also think this is borderline Chauncey Gardner in Being There?

John McMaster, the Pope of $cientology, wrote in 1977:

‘I remember well in the days when I trusted L Ron Hubbard $enior how he used to jeer at people who joined $cientology. He would say people are status mongers and they only wanted high-class certificates. He knew that he was good for a few million dollars every time he put out a new level of training with every certificate at the end. He used to say “All they want is the certificate”.’

I re-read your post a few times and I think that is exactly what Ol' Yella did with the scales.

UPTONE THUG LAWYER
FOR UPTONE THUG CULT
AWARDED 'OPERATING THUG' CERT

99a5f465f77488955f0e1b4825227d57.jpg

OT SUCCESS STORY
When I go into a courtroom I'm not just some high-paid whore pathetically patronizing
a DB wog jury on behalf of my client. Hardly! I do whatever is needed to help my
religion win big--no mater what it takes. Honestly, terrorizing jurors or killing
the pets of opposing counsel, is really something I am extremely happy and
proud I can do. But, in really difficult cases where we were not able to
frame the judge and get them disbarred, I always have the nuclear
option, where I bring my OT certificate into court so they can
see see with their own eyes that I have supernatural powers
and shouldn't be fucked with. Then they acquit my
innocent client and clear the indictment so our
deeply religious religion can buy more real
estate and clear the goddamned planet!
