It is quite something to read that an OT * who has dutifully paid the cult 1 million dollars to reach the very highest level can make pronouncements like this ~~

In this case, OT stands for Outrageous Trash.

I'm pretty sure even in my SO days at the Inv, we'd have considered her statement to be rubbish and to be filed under the "Public celebs say the darnest things" folder.

Postulates!

It's a religious thing.

- - Christians who want something, humbly ask God to give it to them thru PRAYER.
- - Scientologists who want something are not so humble. They demand the Supreme Being give it to them thru POSTULATES.

Naturally, since each Scientologist narcissistically considers themselves God, they can grant their own miracle by simply wishing for it hard enough.

Postulate power is no mere theory, it's science that can easily be proven. Just ask Scientology OTs about the time they brought down the Berlin Wall. [ - not satire - ]

There is a lot of truth here. Nancy Cartright has openly said Scientology Tech takes you to Godhood.

Sample belief ~~

Why is Kirsty even talking about "postulating" a virus away?

Isn't the tech definitive that the only cause of illness is a PTS condition?

Wouldn't a simple "10 August" action erase the virus? That's the tech, just ask who the sick person who is mean or negative to them---and the virus stops virus-ing or something.

I guess the virus is listening to the auditing session?

FIRST VIRUS
(eavesdropping on session)
Oh shit, she just said that someone was
mean to her when she was 4 years old.
She even named the SP, it's another
4 year old little girl Sally SP,
who laughed at her
fingerpainting.

SECOND VIRUS
What do we do now?

FIRST VIRUS
I think we are supposed to just die.

FIRST VIRUS
That sucks! Why do we have to die?
Can't we just blow like a BT?

SECOND VIRUS
Good idea! Where do we go then?

FIRST VIRUS
I don't care, as long as it's not near any
Scientologists. They are so weird & scary
I'm starting to go PTS to them.

Actually I think $cientologists are by-passing the Supreme Being. They themselves are postulating it, trying to bring it into existence.... sort of a "God is not handling this the way I want, so I'll do it."

Bent in all sorts of ways..
Just finished reading Yasmine Mohammed's book "Unveiled. How Western Liberals empower radical Islam".

In it, she runs through quite a few strange beliefs the Muslims hold as sacred truths.

Some of which are a girl's mother will wait at the gates of Heaven and will give her permission for her to enter if her mother felt she was a good enough Muslim, or not if she wasn't happy with her.

Then there is one that most illnesses or mental health issues are possessions by Djinns (or demons).

If you do not pray at least five times daily, forget all about heaven.

Wives and children must be beaten (usually savagely) in case they are holding to impure thoughts.

Nearly all good Muslims utterly believe these among many other strange things with every fibre of their being.

So like scientology and Kirsty Alley, weird thinking is the realm of the indoctrinated. It is expected and encouraged amongst all members of any cult and/or religion, so it doesn't surprise me that she does.
