Scientology leader David Miscavige revealed the church’s new initiative aimed at kids — the Golden Age for a New Generation — at the L. Ron Hubbard Birthday Event in March, to a standing ovation from the likes of Tom Cruise and John Travolta, who were in the front row.
Ever since then, we’ve been interested to see how this new initiative rolls out, as Scientologist parents are pressured into bringing their kids down for a thorough indoctrination.
Already, however, we were seeing some signs that interest in the new books and courses is not as strong as Miscavige might have hoped, but there’s no doubt that Scientology is making an effort.
We have some new photos forwarded to us by readers, and they contain an interesting new sign of, well, is it desperation? Oldtimers are being encouraged to pick up these picture books for kids, because why not, right?
