In 1993 — fresh off the release of their debut EP, 'Opiate,' the year before — TOOL played two shows at the Scientology Centre in Hollywood, California. The concerts have since become the stuff of legend. A young comedian named David Cross first heard about TOOL when he saw an ad for the shows — and not long after, he would welcome singer Maynard James Keenan (fronting a then-fictional band called Puscifer) onto his HBO sketch comedy series 'Mr. Show.' Nearly 30 years later, REVOLVER reunited Cross and Keenan, enlisting the former to interview the latter.
