Geez, as soon as you say something critical of California then all of a sudden people call you names like 'republican'. Sheesh! ;)



Ok... that came from left field. I don't fit very neatly to the two-party system. On a good day you could call me an extremely right leaning democrat, or a very left-leaning republican. But I find neither label to be quite comfortable to be honest.

Also, I'm a Californian myself. Just sayin'

No bad news at least. Hard to say what is going on. Perhaps they are all for "guilty!" with one or two detractors and they are still trying to convince them. Or maybe they have agreed on the first 2 charges quickly but they find the last one very tricky from a legal standpoint?

I'm no lawyer. But my gut reaction is that they are taking quite long for something that should be relatively simple to grasp even for non-lawyers. This is not some sort of corporate white collar bookkeeping crime involving 3 jurisdictions, 20 shell companies, 70+ investors and very creative accounting.

Danny will be in handcuffs.....and sent to jail, pending Sentencing

There will be a Pre-Sentencing evaluation.....that will talk to all Masterson family memberes?? And will talk to Danny....including a Psychiatric Evaluation....

Next Hearing is August 4th.

I wonder, now that Danny is in jail.......and Bond no longer applies.....Danny should get his "bond" returned?

Not an important point to note.....but interesting as to what that entails...to the Masterson Clan....

Another financial consideration: Will "That 70s Show" now be taken off the air...? No re-runs mean no money paid to those actors.....

Edited: At about 20.00....a good discussion about the moment of the Verdict being read....and the Masterson Crew (10 ) being in "Shock"

I agree....they must have all thought he'd walk out today....and when he didn't ..... Why would they have thought that?

The Judge thought he was a Flight Risk.....so handcuffed and taken away. Apparently Danny's Lawyer asked for additional bond and Electronic Monitoring ....but was denied.
