The Danny Masterson Trial thread

Aaron live stream now.....or 2 hours ago.... (?)

I don't like when there is no date on the web page.... But I think this is new today....

^^^^^^

I'm confused as to what the you are talking about....and who you are talking about.

But that is ok. I guess I haven't kept up with the thread and names...
i posted a link above to an article of a story from the NYPost in 2005 about an underage girl being raped in scn. i was saying to him that at least they fired the guy immediately from staff. he said only because the dad took the girl out of the church and hid her did that mitigate anything.

So going to "regular police" was basically off the table for them....at first. So that brings in Scientology...
Yes, this is key. Scientology policy regarding reporting of actual crimes essentially acts as obstruction of justice.

18 U.S. Code § 4 - Misprision of felony

Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

If evidence can be shown of Scientology officials pressuring victims to not report felonies committed against them, and if it can be shown that this was done because of Scientology policy, then the whole hierarchy is in trouble.

I agree with you. I think there's serious discussion going on between OSA and Masterson to take whatever plea deal he can get rather than allow this to drag on.
Cuz we all know that Scientology’s phony image of being an ethical religious church matters more than Danny Masterson’s pathetic life.
Greater good etc…
It’s going to suck for Danny Masterson and his band of family cult members

Kinda...

What I mean is that since Scientology is not a Plaintiff or Defendant in this case.....then it would take a the Judge deciding to refer Scientology to the District Attorney for investigation on the matter....for it to happen. IMO.

Which is a slim chance imo.... But, could happen.

Sounds like if a voluminous amount of KRs make their was into Court Records....that the Scientology involvement will be very much front and center....and it will have to be looked into....

Ellis said she was so fucked when she went to police - that's pretty clear, cut and dried obstruction of justice. Mimsey

Cohen is an interesting guy - he continually tries to put words into her mouth - from her saying the anal intercourse was painful to his describing it as Danny's penis touching your anus, and all through his discrepancy hunt with the police reports, he keeps altering what she said. Real slime ball. I guess that's what it takes to sway a jury - create doubt.

It was Julian Schwartz, not Mike Ellis that said this to her.

Just in case anyone missed this brilliant expose of Julian Swartz, here is Aaron's golden oldie video takedown.

I haven't been following the developments in the CIVIL case (filed by the rape victims) very closely the past several years, but wouldn't Julian be named as one of the defendants?

I wonder what JOHN TRAVOLTA would have to say about Julian Swartz's obstruction of justice for rape victims or how Scientology used Fair Game terrorism to attack them for seeking help from law enforcement?

This might be a compelling clue to the answer:

When the "GOING CLEAR" documentary came out, this is what Travolta had to say:

sgiszen5qcw5eek3lnc1.jpg

He said he hadn't seen the expose, and "I don't really care to,"
adding he thinks Scientology is "beautiful."

"He said he won't talk about the reported misconduct in Scientology,
because he has no idea what they're talking about."

"I've been so happy with my (Scientology) experience in the last 40
years that I don't have anything to say that would shed
light on (a documentary) so decidedly negative."

"I haven't experienced anything that the heresay has (claimed),
so why would I communicate something that wasn't
true for me? It wouldn't make any sense..."

Celebrities like Travolta, Cruise and others are the people that help RECRUIT Scientologists into the cult. Do they not bear some level of responsibility for what the cult does to these victims? Or is it good enough that the celebrities get wins while innocent young women are being brutally raped?

Second and third generation members just aren't as dedicated and willing to do whatever the church says.

I'd say they are loyal in different ways, at least SO and staff:
1st gens are loyal to Hubbard and his 'tech'.
2nd, 3rd etc gens are loyal to the organization. Not so much to an abstract idea of KSW.

However, Danny was not in the SO or staff. Basically he's a celebrity kid who happens to be a scientologist. It seems he also happens to be an empathy-deprived sociopathic sex criminal. I doubt he is loyal to anyone but himself.

Thursday....for yesterday. Scientology in house attorney threatens victims....
This is a good one. Very revelatory.... Moxon's involvement....
I cannot believe the prosecution didn't elaborate on this item and ask further questions to the alleged victim.

Imagine if this exchange would have happened:

L: "So, what did mr.Moxon say to him?"
JD: "He said he doesn't want him to lose me the way he lost his daughter"
L: "And did you and your father at the time know what happened to Mr.Moxon's daughter?"
JD: "Yes"
L: "And can you tell us what you knew about it?"
JD: "Yes. His daughter was found dead inside a high voltage shed on a property in the middle of the desert where the scientology's international management base is. She was electrocuted to death and the church claimed it was an accident"

I think the jurors would have fallen out of their seats hearing this. And tehre's no way Danny's attorney could turn it around, because that is in fact what the Co$ claims happened to Stacy Moxon.

Also, I wonder if Helena Kobrin was involved in any way then, rather then just Ken.

The question will be:If the legislators have balls to do anything about it when scientology is doing it.
Because if they do, it will impact a lot of Jews, Muslims and evangelical fundamentalist christians. Co$ is not the only 'religious' group that does it. Maybe scientology is dumb enough that it does it more openly with more written down policies, but others do it as well.

If you are chasidic fundamentalist jew and report another chasidic jew to the goyim authorities? You are in deep trouble with the community. Not like they will look away and ignore crimes, but they want to handle it thsmselves through their respective "ethics". Similar in some christian and muslim communities.
