1) In the video description below a YouTube video, click on the word "more" to show the entire description.
2) Scroll down until you see the blue "show transcript" link, and click on it.
3)The video transcript will appear just to the right of the video. Copy the full transcript.
4) Open up Claude at Claude.ai
5) I write something like "Summarize this video transcript and list the top ten takeaways" or "extract key takeaways"
6)Then I paste the transcript into the same field and click on the symbol that looks like this:


I use Claude for this instead of ChatGPT because it allows for much larger chunks of text than ChatGPT. If it's a short video, like 10 or 20 minutes, sometimes I'll use ChatGPT, using the same procedure above.
