He’s Connor Barth, a Clearwater, Florida pro dunker who has decided it’s time to step up his Scientology game and join staff at the Orlando org. And the best part is, he wrote a lengthy testimonial describing his reasons.

We have to admit, we didn’t know that slam-dunking on its own had become something one could do professionally. But after a little searching around about it, it doesn’t appear to be the most lucrative of pursuits.

Connor has been supplementing his slam-dunking competitions by signing up paying followers to learn how they too could increase their vertical leap. But perhaps this too is a rather limited market, and Connor needed something more substantial to sink his teeth into.

Connor has decided to dedicate himself to becoming a staff member at the Scientology org, and to get trained to be an auditor. And he takes the time to go into some detail about why this is the greatest thing ever. We’re very curious to see what the former Scientologists in our audience think about his reasoning.

First, he'll go through having to summon up that enthusiasm when he's not feeling it as he's drawn into militaristic callous attitudes and slavish activities that run counter to his positive projections. Then he'll go through adopting the forced hive mind state of being that the Scientology staff member peer pressure dictates, and then its anybody's guess how long and how far he'll go with it until his personal breaking point. But I do appreciate his genuine enthusiasm for what he thinks he's investing himself in. So many of us have been there. Let's hope he comes out the other end well before his age window of athletic competitiveness closes.

Looks like he's going to be one of the new executives for this training program that's going on. Bad move on his part, I think a primary purpose of this evolution was to get a core of younger staff members that they can depend on as the older members age out, and in his case it looks like they got one. I expect they will make leaving staff close to impossible for these staff members. With Orlando's closeness to Flag I expect Flag to step in and "handle" him if he ever attempts to leave, and with all of the resources of Flag they will do a good job of handling him. I hope he follows his dreams and doesn't end up wasting his life as a long time Scientology staffer.

I bet there are already people at Flag intent upon recruiting him for the Sea Org.

Maybe he'll realize that he can get his OT levels for free as an S.O. member, and as a result be able to increase his vertical leap higher than it already is. And at the same time he can help salvage this sector of the universe.

I think he'll be safe from SO recruitment, if he pushes for it they won't say no, but I doubt they'd make an effort to recruit him. The area they are hurting the most is Class V staff, I'm sure of it. So I think he'll be somewhat "protected" from SO recruitment as a Class V staff member.

That figure was determined because the cult wasted million on IDEAL DUNK VIDEO. Nobody came into any of the orgs. Thus, the Com Ev findings were that Barth intentionally sabotaged Ron's technology and caused destruction and disrepute (not to mention "besmirching") of the good name of L. Ron Hubbard.

- - When Connor publicly criticizes the lower condition and $3.7M freeloader bill. He will then suddenly appear on the cover of "FREEDOM" magazine in a Nazi uniform, giving the seig heil arm-salute to a wall-sized photo of Hitler. The headline will read: "79 SCIENTOLOGY WOMEN FILE POLICE REPORTS THAT DISGRACE ATHLETE BARTH IS A SERIAL RAPIST AND THAT HE CONFESSED IN SESSION THAT HE HAD MURDERED MILLIONS & BLOWN UP PLANETS!"
