We’re certainly used to hearing that Scientology has acquired new buildings, but the location of a new $13.5 million acquisition has us a bit puzzled: It’s a set of creative offices in a converted church just a few blocks west of the “Big Blue” Scientology headquarters complex on Sunset Boulevard in East Hollywood, also known in Scientology as “Pacific Area Command.”

But PAC base and its components — the former Cedars of Lebanon “horseshoe” building, the American Saint Hill Organization, the Advanced Organization of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles “Ideal Org” — have been set for decades. Yeah, gotta wonder WTF David "Darth Midget" Miscavige is up to with this purchase. As far as everything I know about C of S goes, this seems exceptionally pointless and wasteful.

There was another purchase in the area....that entire TV studio lot where Sunset curves and heads Downtown....

Well.....it is a Christian style Architectural Building....which IMO Scientology likes to gaslight people with... ( their fake Catholic Cross )

Another reason is that it is about halfway between Guaranty Bank Building on Hollywood Blvd....and SO are always walking from that building or those near by to the PAC area... ( at least that was what I observed decades ago....) So....there could be some reason in that...a way station so to speak...

Anyway....with all the Scientology connected organizations......it could be for any number of those...such as TWTH or some such....

Expect maximum size signage to go up....to prove that Scientology is growing...

Here's an imaginary reason why the COS would possibly want another smallish building very near its huge complex/cluster of "Big Blue" buildings. It's pure fiction and too weird to be something Scientology would actually do.

Then again, usually what Scientology does do is way beyond "weird"---because it's even weirder.

SCENARIO:

COB has massive square footage available to him 24/7 at "Big Blue" and also down the street a ton of more square footage at the media production studios, where I understand he also has a lush living accommodation. Further down the street he has the multi-story "Hollywood Guarantee" building where I understand he has ANOTHER private apartment. And not far away from that is Author Services, where he has even more footage and a luxury home/condo next door.

If COB was "trapped" by process servers or law enforcement or even an FBI raid (at one of those offices/homes) he would need to quickly escape out the back and be driven to a "safe house". All of those nearby Scientology buildings and complexes would be available to him to sneak in thru a private security entrance (just like celebrities have at Celebrity Centre Int'l).

COB would not want to be in a vehicle for any length of time while is "on the run" because that is an easy way to get caught with license plate readers and easily identifiable vehicles. So he'd want to go some place very very close to whichever building he was "trapped" in. Thus, he would want a cluster of very nearby "other" buildings that he could very quickly be dropped off at and hide.

I don't know if the "church" architecture of that new acquisition is part of a scheme to gain public sympathy and courtroom advantage---by proving that he was "kidnapped illegally while he was worshipping inside his church". The answer to why they want a "churchie-looking" building is not exactly known yet, but will become available when i continue CHANNELING this investigation in my imaginary book's next chapter, LOL.

he's got big shoes to fill. how much real estate did LRH buy that was extravagant and unnecessary -- that was the model for how to do things, when DM was being trained at his knee? maharajah's manors, hotels, chateaus, spas, ranches and so on -- and among all the splurges kept hidden at the time from the followers and staff he was bleeding dry between things like monthly price increases and indentured servitude wages, maybe some we don't even know about.

having lived in LA and gotten some glimpses of how much property they own all over town, i have 2 thoughts about this:

* eventually as they shrink they'll need to consolidate operations on the Big Blue campus and the adjacent area (which this is in) -- but presumably try to frame it as 'expansion' with shiny new things there. they may already be at the point where having the few remaining sea borg spread thin across so much LA real estate is demoralizing, and unsustainably inefficient; and they could generate quite a bit of cash to shore up their increasingly shaky finances, by selling off buildings few really know about anyway.

* it could fit with PR efforts to have Sunday services, giving them a central LA location, and more importantly with attempts to pose as a 'church' and groom ecumenical connections with any real religious groups they can manage to con.

Good post....but I have to take exception to your take on Scientology using the Christian Religion and their words.

Whether or not the Christian style building had anything to do with the purchase or not.....Scientology has had a massive increase in the use of Christian nomenclature in the past several decades....IMO.

Words like Cathedral.....and Scriptures....and even calling DM the Pope......have made there way into News Articles.... Not to mention their long standing use of a Catholic Cross.

As is the Cult using Religion angles in Court Cases?

Sure lots of it is Media's lack of understanding about Scientology.

I came to the realization the other day while watching a bit of a Mormon apostate talk on YouTube.
Every Religion has their own words......that mean very specific things.....that might be the same as an English Word....but hold entirely different meaning....used by that religion.

Scientology is notorious for this. They just take a simple English Word....and add their own meaning to it....which for a non-scientologist would confuse the hell out of them. The true Scientology meaning would be completely lost or buried....to the general pubic...or Judge.

So, why not take an entire Christian Church Building.....and slap a big Scientology Sign on it.....right on Sunset Blvd?
This is a major Gaslight.....

There have been several threads here about the Scientology Cross...being some sort of Majic symbol.....and that British whats his name guy....

But....their can be no doubt that Hubbard himself described and told the story about how that Cross came into being for the Cult on a Taped Lecture..... And from that information....there can be no doubt that it is an old Spanish Catholic Cross...from a Spanish Mission in the old Southwest.

Whether this is a true Hubbard tale or not.....this is in the Scriptures...

They could hire the same team that did the El Chapo tunnel -- or better yet,
some long-term RPFers for free -- to dig for the next year and have a wonderful
escape tunnel. Possible.

There are already some tunnels under PAC base so maybe Miscavige can utilize them

I've never personally been in them but some posters on the original ESMB mentioned them.

Also, there are tunnels in Ybor City, Tampa, (where the Ideal Org is located). If DM was ever visiting there maybe he could use them for a quick escape. The Tampa Mafia used them over 100 years ago.

You've got the right photo. That "earlier similar" church acquisition at 7065 Hollywood Blvd was purchased in 1995.

I don't think this was bought with the idea of future consolidation, Scientology doesn't think like that. They are going to expand and rule the world, it is inevitable.

My guesses, event hall or it gets used for the alphabet soup agencies (WISE, ABLE, etc.) as a home base.

Just in case you got curious. . .

If you happened to have clicked on the "STREET VIEW" of the Able headquarters in the post above, you may have noticed a sign directly across the street at 7070 Hollywood Blvd that read: "DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

That sounded so much like one of Scientology's infamous "mystery sandwich" headlines, I had to do a little searching to see what that was. There was another sign there too that read "TREAT PEOPLE WITH KINDNESS". Now that did not sound like Scientology, but I thought maybe they were trying out some new scammy come-on copy lines to see if new marks would flood in, LOL.

Wasn't that easy to find out what is located at 7070 Hollywood Blvd, but i found a ton of links to two (2) different dance clubs that were there. Or used to be there for ages.

Anyways, i couldn't find any store or business currently located there so I tried searching the sign wordage...and to my amazement found it.

It was a "POP-UP" (temporary) store location by Harry Styles to promote his new album and to sell shopping carts-full of other related merch. I believe the store closes next month (May), but I saw photos and videos of super-excited girls lined up waiting to get inside to shop!

Maybe after they close, Scientology can do some "cultural appropriation" and steal that marketing hook "DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?!". Then massive crowds of people can line up outside and wait to do their personality test---after which they can spend the next several decades and $600K to get up to OT VIII* and "know who they are". Well, they won't exactly learn who they are but they will be "interested to find out". LOL.



* CRAZED CULT COPYWRITING CON: The end phenomena for Scientology's highest level (OT VIII) is: "I now know who I am not and I am interested to find out who I am"
