Yeah, but it is one thing to let a celeb go silently, not to cause a disturbance among those who still remain.

It is a different story to let that celeb run her own "life-coach-therapy-whatnot". Maybe I'm overestimating the intelligence of some people, but I think a lot of still-in scientologists will start to ask questions like: "Why is she doing that if she has scientology? Isn't that 'other practices'?"

Also, I somehow doubt Joy's coaching is purely original. Just like Hubbard took a lot of stuff from his old master Crowley, Joy is probably using Hubbard-methods even if she left the cult. Which would be ground for the church to sue her. Once people see that it is ok for a celeb to leave and "do her own version", it might create a cascade effect.

So that is my interpretation issue:
1. If Joy left, then why does Davey not try to sue her or otherwise make her stop that "counseling/coaching"?
2. If she is still in, how is that not considered "other practices"?



1. First possible explanation would be that it is a concession and she's running a feeder-front-group.

2. My second (and less probable) explanation is that things are spiraling out of control and Davey is losing control of his celebs and doesn't have the 'oomph' to push back on the legal front. Which would mean that we are really seeing the elephant now.

Of course, option 2 might be just my wishful thinking.

There is no evidence that Joy Villa has left Scientology.

On 2/4/21, Villa was interviewed by Trina Gunzel, who is a Scientologist and indeed is Clear.



On 1/27/21, Scientologist Mirit Hendrickson reposted an old photo of her and Villa to Facebook. That posting may not have been mere happenstance.

Villa's 12/11/20 - 12/13/20 "Women In Power - Christian Conservative Women’s Retreat" was co-hosted by Trina Gunzel, who as noted above is a Scientologist.

According to numerous news sources, organizers for "Recall Gavin 2020" said they have surpassed the 1.5 million signatures required to place the proposal on this year’s ballot. The signatures still need to be verified. Once verified and approved, the recall election would happen sometime over the summer.

I predict that we will be seeing a lot more of Villa if the signatures are verified and the recall election is held.

Villa says, "The Lord has put something on my heart recently...."

Among other things, Villa is now fighting against pornography. She admits that she was addicted to pornography as a teenager. She talks about photos of Instagram models displaying their bodies demonstrating a "low-toned flow."

Villa also criticizes "happy pills" and says the pharmaceutical industries are evil. She goes on to say that blood pressure medications "can be a cash grab as well" because "if you change your diet, you change your life."

Going back to mental health problems and depression, among other things Villa counsels: (a) "you don't really need these medications they keep selling you"; (b) "get rid of the person that's causing this"; and (c) "Don't take a pill."
