We continue our dive into the early history of Scientology’s founder L. Ron Hubbard, a history that the church hides from its members.
In a series of posts, we’ve been describing how things unfolded 75 years ago in 1951, as Hubbard’s early success with Dianetics turned sour, and his personal escapades began to catch up with him.
Last time, we remembered how Hubbard’s bigamy became public in court papers with his second wife leaving him and his first wife suing for unpaid child support. And at the same time, he was struggling to come up with ways to bring in more cash as his early Dianetics empire was crumbling.
Then, 75 years ago today, came another serious blow.
On September 3, 1951 Time magazine published a review of a new book by a physician by the name of Joseph A. Winter, who had been a very important early Dianetics supporter — he wrote the introduction to Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health when it came out the year before, and he had even delivered Alexis Valorie, the baby born to Hubbard and his second wife Sara Northrup on March 8, 1950, just weeks before the book arrived.
Now, a year later, Winter had not only soured on Hubbard and Dianetics, he had even published a book about it.
The timing could not have been worse for Hubbard. Just the day before, on September 2, the Wichita Eagle reported that his Dianetics foundations in Kansas and New Jersey were in receivership as his early successes were turning into abject failure.

Yup. Hubbard was F---ked. The shell game was not yet an everyman thing. But, Hubbard was an expert and diving into new hats and disowning the ones he left behind. A virtuoso!

No, there were no Limited Liability Company (LLC) laws in the United States back in 1950. [1, 2]
The LLC is a relatively modern American business structure. If you wanted to start a business in 1950, your primary options were a standard corporation, a partnership, or a sole proprietorship. [1, 2]
The timeline of how the LLC came to be includes:

• • 1958 (The S-Corporation alternative): In the 1950s, small business owners grew increasingly frustrated by corporate complexities. While they wanted limited liability, they didn't want the "double taxation" of regular corporations. In response, Congress created the S-Corporation in 1958. This gave business owners pass-through taxation, but it came with rigid restrictions on who could own shares. [1, 2, 3, 4]
  • 1977 (The first U.S. LLC law): The state of Wyoming enacted the very first LLC statute in the United States in 1977. It was heavily pushed by an oil and gas company (Hamilton Brothers Oil Co.) that wanted a U.S. business structure mimicking the liability and tax protections they used internationally. [1, 2, 3]
  • 1988 (The IRS green light): For over a decade, LLCs didn't catch on because the IRS wasn't sure how to tax them. Finally, in 1988, the IRS ruled that LLCs could be taxed as partnerships while keeping corporate liability limits. [1, 2]
  • The 1990s (Widespread adoption): Following the IRS ruling, states rushed to pass their own LLC laws. By 1996, all 50 states had officially authorized LLC formations. [1, 2]

Hubbard, within a year was asking Whose memory was being remembered and who's universe viewpoint the client was situated in.
This was a rapid progression from simple past life therapy or theosophical stuff. I suppose if you are going up the chain of memory you span past the 'creature' viewpoint to the being running things, then, maybe into some group spirit that it may have divided from. They would have access to different circumspect arenas of info.

Today, looking at what is going on with social engineering, I'd say there's an attempt to deliberately deny access to the actual history of each, one to another. If a new DNA and merger of group spiritual bodies can be forced, it then has no natural pre-history in time and space. It's at it's own starting point. Denial of the self to actual true credentials and aims is insidious. Why is it so important today that nobody know who is really is.....from creation of his first natural point. Is it not fair to everyone across or the boards, or is it a threat to 'someone' somewhere.

It seems today science is meddling with theta bodies in a 'hopper'. Occlusion of a person's authentic memory seems to be a partial goal. Just look at our daft politicians who cannot string their disjointed reasoning and thoughts together. How can you lead if you don't anchor to a point of view. All the wishy washy is a consequence of no events, located in space and time seeming to have real weight or being real. It's why we don't want to teach history in our classrooms......we don't want anything to have more weight than anything else. You can go visit a meteor site and immediately determine much weight it had. It had IMPACT in time and space. Something happened in TIME which CAUSED other things to happen in TIME. You don't really get to embroider too much away from the point.
