We go way back with John P. Coale. We first wrote about his deep involvement (along with his wife, TV journalist Greta Van Susteren) in Scientology’s “Operating Thetan” levels back in 2015.
We thought it was pretty wild that Coale and Van Susteren had both completed OT 4, the level where you put your invisible space cooties — er, body thetans — through drug rehab so they can recover from the super galactic drugs they’ve been bingeing on.
We’re not joking. That is exactly what Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard directed his followers to do on OT 4, get your invisible body thetans weaned off of heavy space coke. And if Greta and John were in possession of this technology, why weren’t they sharing it with the rest of the world?
Later, we actually spoke with Coale when we were preparing a story about our conversations with Lisa Marie Presley.
Lisa had told us that she genuinely loved Michael Jackson, and didn’t want to split up with him, but that Scientology was putting heavy pressure on her to file for divorce. In particular, she said, church leader David Miscavige was applying that pressure on her through attorney John P. Coale.
