Sanity or Anarchy?

Excerpt:
These are what passes for the most sane ethics and justice system ever invented. Don’t testify or use the court system or cooperate with authorities. Disconnect from family and friends. And these are just a few that bring tears to my eyes…

But perhaps the most batshit crazy is left for the final chapter of this book. I reprint it here in full with some highlights. It clearly lays out Hubbard’s view of law enforcement and the courts. This is the mandated attitude for scientologists.
Is it any wonder that scientologists do not report rapes and other felonies to law enforcement? Is it a surprise they are willing to lie under oath? Hide witnesses? Destroy evidence?

I know I am preaching to the choir but I cannot resist just the ever slightest derail.

We all know they won't even do the right thing when it comes to helping their fellow Scientologists.

Scientology's public image is more important than an individual Scientologist's life.

One example that comes to mind is what happened to Ed Brewer.

Ed Brewer
Ed Brewer was involved in a car accident. Several other Sea Organization or Scientology Staff members were in the car with him. They left him in the car to bleed to death while they went back to the Scientology organization to talk to the people in the intelligence division, because they didn't know what to do. They didn't want to create a public relations flap for Scientology. When they did this, they failed to call for medical help. Brewer literally bled to death pinned in this car.

Once you accept the idea that Scientology is of infinite value, that it is "the only way out", then it logically follows that protecting it is worth ANY cost. That NOBODY'S life is more valuable than this week's stats.

I knew Ed very well - Close friend. I had left the sea or before Ed died. After he died, I spoke with his brother, Bill Brewer, an ex-scientologist from the early days. Bill seemed to feel that Ed was murdered. He discussed some motives the church may have had.

If the cherch doesn't like you, you deserve whatever it was that was 'pulled in'. Deliberate negligence in an emergency is aiding in the death. Same as with hit and run victims being abandoned or ignored, once need for medical assistance has been noticed.

I know first hand how brainwashed you can be about not causing a flap. I could have had a lawsuit using my many hospital records as evidence. It. never occurred to me I'd have arrhythmias for decades after leaving the sauna for the ER. . The situation modified my entire life between by mid 20s into my late 50s. The concern I had in the ER was that I'd not create a flap and make the Purif I/C wrong for hours in the sauna with toxic vitamin overdose. Decades, being scared of stroke paled in comparison to my Scientology loyalty. Your lower mission's legal liability is divorced from the corporate pockets in any emergency.

When there's no intent to murder, there's often the one to make you disappear into oblivion. I've seen ethics order issued for 'creating a problem' others needed to put valuable attention on. Either the individual person is of value or he isn't. Don't be selling resurgence if your mark doesn't have enough worth to own it.
