I just ran across this obit for Ralph Box. From a couple years ago.

Ralph was the PES of Boston Foundation for a few years. Probably in the mid-90s. He was a powerhouse, rose in ranks quickly, but then we'd discover false statistics and pretty bad financial irregularities. But somehow he always talked his way out of it and came back out on top.
I stayed in his apartment in the South End for a while. I moved in and after about a few short weeks discovered that he had not paid the rent in ages, and we were evicted. Would have been nice to know before moving.
He was married to Lynne Orlando briefly. Enough to have a kid, Branden. Then he just disappeared one day. Stole another staff member's car and some money I think. Got declared, but never showed back up again in the time I was there. I think he left while Lynne was still pregnant, but I can't remember 100%. He definitely wasn't around to raise the kid.
He would tell stories about how he was previously in a band called Ralph Box and the Business. And talked about hanging out with Billy Idol. But I never could really believe a word he said.
Looks like he found Jesus.
