Good morning from the courthouse, where a skeleton crew of reporters is keeping up our verdict watch.

We confirmed with the court clerk this morning that the original trial schedule is still holding. So if the jury cannot reach verdicts by the end of today, then tomorrow’s session (Tuesday, May 23) won't begin until after the lunch break, and Wednesday, May 24, the court will be dark entirely.~~~READ MORE

I was just reading this. I have a good feeling that conviction is a fait accompli for one or two counts already, and that the continued deliberations are about sorting out the rest. That's what I'm sensing. I hope that feeling is right.

I hope you are right.

Unfortunately, my gut feeling is that they haven't reached a verdict because they are firmly split between in their opinions on all counts and we are heading yet again towards a mistrial.

I'm optimistic on a Guilty Verdict......of some sort.

Perhaps they have agreed on some aspects and still hashing it out on others?

The Drugging Aspect is vile.....and looks to be a pattern.... After drugging.....what were they to do?

I wish there had been more investigations into the drugging.....what it was, where the drug came from....and who else knew about it....

Of course it it vile. That's what boggles my mind - that the drugging potentially makes the statute of limitations run out quicker.

I was thinking more in terms of getting to the bottom of the drugging. I can't imagine that Danny didn't have a "posse" that joked and bragged about their goings on....?? It would have been interesting to have some of them on the witness stand.....including Danny, even if they claimed the 5th......

Who knows? It is one thing to brag about how many groupies you banged or how many fans flashed their tits on your concert, it is another thing to brag about you know... non-consensual relations assisted by illegal drugs.

He would have to trust these people a lot to discuss these sort of topics.
