Every year, we celebrate the birthday of the woman who is the reason we started the Underground Bunker in the first place, to support our book about her, The Unbreakable Miss Lovely: How the Church of Scientology tried to destroy Paulette Cooper.
She sent us this new photo of her and her lovely husband Paul Noble to let us know that they are still playing dress up and having a whale of a time!
As a special treat for her many fans, Paulette is celebrating her birthday by making a 20-page excerpt from her own memoir, The Perils of Paulette: My Life as a Stowaway, Tabloid Reporter, Travel Writer, Scientology-Basher, Holocaust Survivor & More, available over at Apostate Alex’s website today for all to read for free.
As always, we’re feeling so fortunate that we ever heard about Paulette and how she survived the years of harassment Scientology threw at her, and then investigated it and found out how much worse it really was. We’ll always be grateful to her that she put up with our probing for our book. You’re the best, Paulette, and happy birthday!
