While I have experienced that we do leave ourselves wide open to SHTF when we feel we are being 'bad', it also seemed it was a way to avoid handling case crap in Scientology. How many had hit some booby traps while running into old enemies and then did all the self blame for pulling it in. A 19 yr old Sea Org recruit might go into a health slump from only 5 hrs sleep a night and the handle would be to pull up the bootstraps and re-affirm your high purpose.
It definitely is a protection to keep your life clean of negative psychic intentions, especially those where you are discovered stopping yourself. Maybe all mishaps and downturns of fortune could have this at the source. But, trying to stave off your malaise by attaining sainthood, to where you wouldn't even posses such problems is an invitation to step outside your center....in the C of S. The purpose should be to rehabilitate the worthiness to occupy your sovereign viewpoint.
Thinking back on the three times I almost died in Scientology, I see too easily the self negation and invalidation that buried the truth of what was really activated and going on. I do believe in past lives and we do parlay around the same individuals from inside or outside space/ time. We just don't want to bypass the safety and occlusion gifted us by our 'one lifetime' schema. And it's a shame if we'd be so lame about employing tools which cut through the mustard.
We are spiritual beings on a quest to
not be submerged any more. Scientology is a game with exceptional players having used pros and cons with this aim. Efforts regarding Getting Out, trigger our Going In, and some act out intentions below our level of consciousness....such as feelings certain people
shouldn't get out. It can be deadly for our flesh. Yet, the certainty that you actually
are an ethical person, deserving of occupying your space in the universe, can help with You,
remaining YOU......and also save your life! ( Maybe, we should not get so absorbed asserting unworthiness into each other.)
