Joanie Gambino was my CO at Boston Org back in the early 80's. Yesterday, I was surprised (not in a good way) to find out she passed 8 years ago.

Reading between the lines and "all donations to St Bernards Rescue", seems to suggest the cult was in her past. Others may know different.

I hope so, but I have no idea.

I only knew her when she was at the CLO in NY. She was in Boston pretty often too though, on various missions. We got a long pretty well mostly. She liked me. She could be tough, but never blatantly evil in my recollection. Not petty.

Her daughter Jenny joined the SO and god, she came on with a chip on her shoulder and something to prove. She was scary.
