Ex-Scientology Sea Org Exec Sheila Huber: The Anti-Child Sea Org; A Crucial Historical Video

The late Sheila Huber was a Sea Org executive. Specifically she was ESTO at AOLA. Translated, this means she was in charge of managing Scientology's Advanced Org in Los Angeles where the OT levels are delivered. After Sheila escaped from the Sea Org, she made a series of videos about her experiences as a Sea Org exec.

In this video she talks about the chilling details of a survey about children in the Sea Org. There was horrific treatment of children in the Sea Org nurseries.

This lead to Scientology's policy of forced abortions for Sea Org women who became pregnant.

Forced abortions were Scientology's answer to the "child problem." Rather than spending any of its vast multibillion dollar fortune on improving child care, Scientology's answer was to kill unborn children.

Thanks for that video of Sheila. I'd never seen her in person. What a compassionate plus point for the SO. There were so few, and fewer as the yrs went by. I never understood how clearing the planet meant your offspring being killed. Somebody is giving birth every second of every day in this world. How would killing your own be a drop in the bucket for a clearing project.

It used to break my heart riding the ASHO bus from the Manor each morning. We'd stop by letting one or two moms (staff) go play on the lawn of some bldg that kept the infants. These were tiny tots and mom's were so young. Maybe they'd get 45 mins with the babies each day, I don't know. The joy of saving the planet at the great cost of missing that first walk or not being there for the fevers and cutting of teeth.

My boyfriend in the mid 80s had handled the Cadet Org and drove the school aged ones in the morning shift. His name was Eric Lindengren. His wife, Iris was promoted to Flag and he went with her. She had two young children by a previous marriage to a veteran soldier who died during a swim accident. They allowed the kids in the SO back in the late 70s and she had survivors benefits for the children. When she had Virginia in 79 she got a warning. When Eric got her pregnant with Amelia in 81, they were kicked out. Iris refused the abortion. Living with those 2 kids back in 85 was a learning experience. At that age total attention and devotion is needed. I'm so glad their mother chose to give it herself.

I spotted the youngest in post where she was getting married. Such a beautiful child turned into a treasured adult with expanding family Maryland. Darn, I can't find my drive photos cause I didn't create a label. The birth of this young lady got her mom and dad OUT of the SO.
